Supporting your hormones doesn’t have to become another full-time job.

No perfect morning routine. No “hormone detox.” No buying a cupboard full of supplements because someone online told you to.

For the next 7 days, try making the basics more consistent:

Eat a proper breakfast with protein + fibre.
Notice your hunger before you reach absolutely starving.
Add more plants to what you already eat.
Give yourself a little more sleep.
Move after a meal when you can.

None of these habits promise to magically “balance your hormones” in a week — that’s not how hormones work.

But nutrition, sleep, movement and regular eating patterns are all part of supporting your overall hormone health, energy, blood sugar regulation and wellbeing.

Save this and actually try it for 7 days.

Then come back and tell us: which habit made the biggest difference to how you felt?

And if you want us to build the 30-day version, tell us below 👇

You think you’re just stressed.

You’re waking at 3AM.
Your brain feels permanently one tab behind.
Your patience has vanished.
Your period suddenly has a personality of its own.
Then the headaches, aches, dryness or libido changes start showing up too.

And because none of it feels connected, you blame work, sleep, age, being busy… basically everything except perimenopause.

But perimenopause can affect sleep, mood, concentration, menstrual cycles, libido and physical symptoms long before the stereotypical hot flushes arrive.

That does NOT mean every symptom in your 30s or 40s is perimenopause.

It means the pattern deserves attention.

Especially when several new changes start appearing together.

Save this if you’ve been saying, “I don’t know what’s going on with me lately.”

And send it to the woman who keeps blaming everything on stress.

Which one would you never have connected to perimenopause?

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t having symptoms.

It’s spending years convincing yourself they’re “probably normal.”

The painful periods.

The exhaustion.

The mood changes.

The digestive issues.

The feeling that something has changed — even when you can’t quite explain what.

Not every symptom means something is wrong.

But persistent symptoms that are new, worsening or affecting your everyday life deserve more than automatic dismissal.

You know your normal.

And there is a difference between:

“This is common.”

and

“You have to live like this.”

Save this for the woman who has been talking herself out of asking the question.

And tell me:

How long did you wait before finally taking a symptom seriously?

Bloating after meals, bloating by evening, constipation bloating, period bloating… the pattern matters.

If you regularly feel bloated, don’t only track what you ate.

Track when it starts.

Because bloating that shows up shortly after meals is a different pattern from bloating that gradually builds throughout the day, appears alongside constipation, repeats around your menstrual cycle, or is there most days.

For the next 7 days, notice:

When it starts
How long it lasts
What happened beforehand
Any bowel changes
Where you are in your cycle
Any other symptoms happening with it

You’re not trying to diagnose yourself.

You’re collecting better information about your body instead of randomly removing foods every time your stomach feels uncomfortable.

And if your bloating is new, persistent, painful, worsening or noticeably different from your normal, speak with a healthcare professional.

Save this carousel and use it as your bloating tracker this week.

Insulin resistance doesn’t mean you “ate too much sugar.” And it doesn’t automatically mean diabetes.

Insulin is a hormone that helps move glucose from your bloodstream into your cells, where it can be used for energy.

With insulin resistance, those cells stop responding to insulin as effectively.

So your body compensates by producing more insulin to help keep your blood sugar levels under control.

And here’s the part people often miss:

Your blood sugar can still look “normal” for a while because your body is working harder behind the scenes to keep it there.

Insulin resistance is also commonly discussed alongside conditions such as PCOS, prediabetes and other metabolic health concerns.

This is why understanding your blood sugar, insulin sensitivity and metabolic health is about far more than cutting out carbs or blaming yourself for what you eat.

Your body is giving you information.
The goal is learning how to read it.

Save this Reel if insulin resistance has always felt confusing — and follow The Hormone Method for evidence-informed women’s hormone and metabolic health education.

You track your workouts. You track your sleep. But the one thing that actually explains both of those, your hormone cycle, probably isn’t on your radar at all.

Mood changes the same week every month. Fatigue that doesn’t lift no matter how much you sleep. Skin breaking out in the same spot every cycle. On their own these look like bad luck. Tracked together over a few months, they become a map of what your hormones are actually doing.

This is the foundation of real hormone health, not guessing, tracking. Save this and log the next one you notice against where you are in your cycle.

Which of these seven do you deal with most.

What should you actually eat on your period? Save this for your next grocery trip.

During your menstrual cycle, especially while you’re bleeding, nutrition doesn’t need to become complicated.

Think iron rich foods like beef, lentils, beans, spinach and pumpkin seeds. Pair plant sources of iron with vitamin C rich foods like kiwi, oranges, strawberries and red peppers to support iron absorption.

Add magnesium rich foods like almonds, chia seeds, avocado and dark chocolate, keep carbohydrates like rice, potatoes, oats and fruit on your plate, and don’t forget protein.

And one of the biggest reminders?

Please actually eat.

Cramps, bloating, nausea or a low appetite can make skipping meals tempting, but eating less isn’t automatically what your body needs just because your period arrived.

Keep meals simple when you need to. Nourishment doesn’t have to be perfect.

Save this period grocery list for the next time your cycle starts.

Does your energy disappear around 3PM every single day?

Before blaming the workload, your sleep or your third meeting of the afternoon, look back at what you ate for breakfast.

A breakfast built mainly around carbohydrates with very little protein can contribute to a rapid rise and later fall in blood sugar, which may leave you tired, hungry and searching for another quick energy fix.

And no, that does not mean carbohydrates are the enemy.

It means balance matters.

Protein, fibre and a more balanced breakfast can help support steadier energy through your morning and afternoon.

Tomorrow, pay attention to your first meal instead of automatically accepting the afternoon crash as normal.

Save this for breakfast tomorrow and share it with the woman who somehow becomes a different person at 3PM. 😂
