A little slice of Greece in Dubai, and exactly where we wanted to spend a long lunch. 🇬🇷

ILIĀNA | Restaurant & Rooftop at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab has that perfect balance of feeling luxurious without feeling too formal. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is easy, and for a few hours it felt like we had stepped away from the usual pace of the city.

We loved all the seafood — everything tasted so fresh and was beautifully prepared. The table-side gyros was just as delicious and definitely something we’d happily have again.

A beautiful setting, really good food and a little taste of Greece in the middle of Dubai. What’s not to like?

The Commodore Club has a chic feel to it, and the mood is relaxed & easy. There’s a good buzz around the room once dinner gets going.

The lobster rolls were a definite highlight, followed by the beef croquetas and piri piri prawns, which were just as enjoyable. The mains came in generous portions and were satisfying, and dessert rounded things off nicely.

A pretty good way to spend a dinner in Dubai. Thank you to the entire team for a lovely evening.

If you’re in the mood for an Italian dinner that feels a little more special, Rialto should be on your radar. The restaurant has that old-school Italian charm but with a modern edge, and even with every table buzzing, it still manages to feel intimate. The music blends effortlessly into the background, the service is warm and polished, and the whole evening just flows.

Now let’s talk about the food... The langoustines, yellowtail crudo and burrata were the perfect way to start the evening. And if you’re only ordering one pasta, make it the spaghetti with Amalfi lemon sauce and Oscietra caviar. You’ll thank me later! The mains kept that momentum going. The prawns were cooked beautifully, the lamb chops were spot on, and every course left us wanting to see what was coming next.

Then there’s the tiramisu... don’t even think about leaving without ordering it. It is, without question, the best tiramisu I’ve had in Dubai. It was a little trip to heaven and back, and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.

First time at Butcher & Still, and I can see why it is such a well-known spot in Abu Dhabi. The 1920s-inspired interiors, the dim lighting, and the jazz playing in the background all add to that old-school steakhouse feel.

The menu stays true to what you come here for: great steaks, classic American favorites, and comfort food done properly. The steaks are definitely the highlight, but the starters and sides deserve their moment too.

What I loved about the place is that it commits to the experience. From the music and the interiors to the food, everything feels like it belongs together. It’s a fun place to spend a few hours, especially when you’re in the mood for a steakhouse night.

The restaurant will be taking a short break over the summer as it undergoes a renovation, coming back with a fresh new look. Looking forward to seeing what’s next for this Abu Dhabi favourite.

Two nights at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi and I genuinely wasn’t ready to go home. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after so well that switching into holiday mode happened almost instantly.

We were put up in one of their gorgeous suites, and I won’t lie... checking out hurt a little. The space, the beautiful interiors, and that ridiculously comfortable bed made it very easy to forget we had to leave.

Slow mornings, long breakfasts, time by the pool, great meals, cocktails in the evening, and absolutely no rush to be anywhere else. It was the kind of stay where you actually get to enjoy every little moment.

It went by way too quickly, but it was the perfect little escape. Definitely a stay I’d happily repeat.

I can’t believe it took me this long to make it to Saikindō. From the moment you walk in, you get why people are talking about it. Every room has its own energy, so the night changes as you move through the space. The restaurant feels intimate, while the bar has a completely different rhythm. If you’re there on a Thursday evening, Marco Corallo - their DJ (and beverage director), sets the tone for the evening and gives the place an atmosphere that’s hard not to get caught up in.

The menu is concise, with a selection of dishes that delivers far more than its size suggests. Nothing feels unnecessary and I guarantee you’ll go back for seconds! The cocktails are just as much a part of the experience—playful, creative and impossible to ignore.

If you ask me, the best way to experience Saikindō is to book a table for dinner, then make your way to the bar afterwards. Grab a cocktail, settle in with the music and let the night unfold. It’s the kind of place that’s just as enjoyable after dinner as it is during it, and that’s exactly what makes it such a great spot for a night out.

Can we talk about vntg.dubai for a second? There’s something incredibly easy to like about this restaurant, and it’s already become a favourite for so many.

The evening started with wine, cheese and oysters and ended with us scraping the sticky toffee pudding clean — everything in between was just as divine. Proper wipe-the-plate-clean delicious. Trust me, it’s one of those places where you just want to say YES to everything.

Beautiful space, stellar service, and a menu by Head Tom Allen that’s worth coming back for. Every bite, every sip, every bit worth it 🤍

Back at Tasca by José Avillez and it still is one of the best spots in town! The food is DELISH — those tuna tartare cones, the octopus, the shrimp ceviche, and the garlic shrimp are incredible. Plus, having the Dubai skyline as the backdrop gives the whole place such a great vibe. Just make sure you save a little room at the end, because you absolutely cannot leave without getting the warm pastel de nata. It’s elite. 🇵🇹

Sometimes all it takes is a return visit to remember why a place keeps you coming back. is one of those places.

Great food, a genuinely fun atmosphere, and the kind of menu that encourages a little indulgence in the best possible way. Order generously. Stay longer than planned. Save room for dessert, regardless of how confident you feel halfway through the meal.

You’ll leave gloriously overfed and already plotting your next visit. That’s how you know it was worth every bite!
