🍗✨ Taiwanese Fried Chicken (TFC) 台式鹹酥雞 🇹🇼 Homemade & Unforgettable ✨🍗

Today in Chenny in The Kitchen, I’m bringing you one of Taiwan’s most loved comfort foods ➡️ Taiwanese Fried Chicken, made simply at home but bursting with flavour 🤤

Juicy diced chicken thigh fillets are marinated overnight with a fragrant mix of five spice powder, soy sauce, raw sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, white & black pepper, coriander seed powder, onion powder, and egg, then coated in gluten-free corn starch for that signature light crunch.

Shallow-fried in just enough vegetable oil to cover the chicken, the result is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The flavours were honestly out of this world! 😋

Perfect paired with your favourite salad, carbs of choice, or simply enjoyed as is (no judgement here 😉👌).
