From 1 January 2025, prices of honey & honeycomb will be slightly increased to cover the increasing cost of materials.

Hayes Honey prices have remained unchanged since 2021 but there have been ongoing increases in the cost of goods & materials (e.g. jars, packaging, labels etc). All price increases are minimal.

New prices from 1 January 2025:

Honey 500g glass or plastic - $10
Honey 1.4kg glass - $22
Honey 5kg tub - $65
Honeycomb 1kg - $50
Honeycomb 350g - $18
Honeycomb in jar - $18
Honeycomb rounds - $18
Macadamias in honey - $14

There will be no change to the price of beeswax, candles, lip balms, body butter and honey dippers.

The honey competition received the most amount of entries ever this year; Joel came away with six first and three second places, in honey, honeycomb and beeswax categories.
