Growers tip: if you smile nicely at your vegetables, they taste better. Come to the Farmers Market on Saturdays to grab, and I quote, “ the best carrots we’ve ever tasted”. Get in early, we sell out fast. Also, next week it’s our stall-neighbour’s last week before they have a break, so you better grab some flowers too.

The farmer is communing with the salad turnips.
These are a staple in our boxes, known as snow apples in America. Absolutely gorgeous fresh in a salad (as the name suggests) but also delicious cooked any way you want. They have a crispy light texture and a sweetish, buttery-ish, peppery-ish fresh flavour.
Our capacity for the weekend is filling fast, get your order for a box in by tomorrow!

Look at all these funky pumpkins! My favourite is the North Georgia Candy Roaster (it’s kinda buried in the left corner). It’s bloody delicious but more importantly, it’s so fun to say.
(Also, I don’t actually think that there are pumpkins in the box this weekend, I just love this photo.)
One of the great things about our mixed veg boxes are the wide variety of things that you just can’t get in the shops.
