A bucket of fluffle-puffs to put a smile on your face! 🐣

These babies hatched on Monday. We're having a much welcomed early start to the season, last year I think it was November before we hatched our first batch! Hopefully by December we will have what we need for the following season and can shut down the incubators.

Let's play a game! 🐴

With two foals due this season, we are super excited. Each picture has a list of colour possibilities for the resulting foal from each pairing.

Photo 1 is of our beautiful first time mum-to-be, Josie (Silver Mountain Josephine), and the sire of her unborn foal, Mondy (Helenka Sharmond).

Photo 2 is of our gorgeous little lady, Navana (Helenka Navana), and the sire of her unborn foal, Red (Millbrae Red Coat).

Comment filly (♀️) or c**t (♂️), and the colour you think our babies will be when they arrive earthside!

It's been go go go this week, we've been de-worming the ponies and the chooks, and the chooks have had their Exzolt as a preventative so that they go into the breeding season nice and healthy 💛

Our first test hatch of the season is under way, day 7 and fertility for the Frizzled Easter Eggers & F2 Olive Eggers is at 100%, the wheaten based Araucanas are at about 85%.

We are gauging interest in gold spangled and white spangled gold Hamburg and black/cuckoo/lavender/lavender cuckoo Easter Egger (possible frizzle) fertilized eggs. Currently running the first test hatch of the season 🤍💚🩵

Yesterday my good friend Deb & I headed up to Roseworthy Vets to have a few mares scanned. Unfortunately the one I was really hoping to be in foal was not, but our other 2 beautiful mares were, so, we will be welcoming 2 foals to the farm in October
