Today, our youngest baker came to work. ❤️🥖

While most kids are enjoying their school holidays…

Jayden decided he wanted to learn how to make Pandesal.

He weighed the ingredients.
He cracked the eggs.
He rolled the dough.
He loaded the trays into the proofer.
He even started the proofing program himself.

And then came the hardest part…

Waiting.

Watching the dough slowly grow.

Seeing his very first batch come to life.

At An Khang Bakery, we believe baking is more than following a recipe.

It’s about patience.
It’s about responsibility.
It’s about creating something with your own hands.

Whether Jayden becomes a baker one day or chooses a completely different path…

So… we fixed it.

With school holidays here, we know lots of kids are spending a little more time at home — so after another day of baking bread, we’ve been building something fun for them too.

It’s still very early, but An Khang Bakery might just be getting its own Roblox world. 🎮🥖

Who knows… one day you might be able to visit An Khang Bakery in Roblox before visiting us in real life. 😉

Firstly, we’d like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who visited An Khang Bakery today. ❤️

Today was one of our busiest Mondays ever, with sales up by more than 50% compared to last Monday. We are incredibly grateful for your support.

With the unexpected rush, we also made some mistakes.

🥩 Our Beef Short Ribs sold out by around 12:30 pm, and we’re truly sorry to everyone who came hoping to order one.

🍜 We also experienced an unusually high number of vermicelli bowl orders. Our kitchen had to cook more noodles during service, which caused longer waiting times than normal.

Unfortunately, one online pickup customer had to wait longer than expected and decided to cancel their order. We completely understand the frustration, apologised in person, and provided a full refund.

We take these situations seriously.

✅ We’ve already fixed our online ordering system so that every online order now prints in the kitchen immediately, allowing our team to prepare it much faster and reduce waiting times.

Every busy day teaches us something, and today helped us become a little better.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for supporting our small family business. We truly appreciate every single customer, and we’ll keep working hard to serve you better every day.

❤️⚽ Community Matters ⚽❤️

We’ve been part of the Bairnsdale community for nearly 20 years. We didn’t come here just to build a business — along the way, this community has become family.

Supporting local kids, local sporting clubs and local families is one small way we can give back to a community that has given so much to us.

We are proud to support East Gippsland United FC with these Player Appreciation Gift Vouchers, recognising the hard work, dedication and teamwork shown throughout the season.

Watching Australia defeat Turkey 2–0 at the FIFA World Cup this week was a wonderful result and a reminder of what can be achieved through passion, commitment and teamwork.

Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll be cheering on one of these East Gippsland kids wearing the green and gold for the Socceroos on the world’s biggest stage. 🇦🇺⚽

Every big dream starts on a local field.
