The CGB team recently completed vegetation management works along sections of the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail, focusing on the control of invasive Lantana and Leucaena around several of the trail’s incredible historic bridges.

Projects like this are important not only for improving access and presentation of the trail, but also for helping protect native vegetation and preserving the character of these historic structures for future generations.

Working in some beautiful country with a bit of local history mixed in always makes for a rewarding job.

Great effort by the crew getting through some challenging terrain and overgrown areas safely and efficiently.

If you require w**d management, environmental spraying, or rural property maintenance CGB Environmental Management is always happy to help.

Another quality fencing project completed by the team.
This recent electric fencing installation for a local horse property was designed to provide a safe, secure, and reliable setup for both livestock management and property protection.
The job included: • New electric fencing installation
• Strong, durable post and wire setup
• Reliable energiser system
• Clean and practical layout suited to horse safety
We take pride in building fencing solutions that are not only functional, but built to handle Australian conditions and day-to-day farm use.
Big thanks to the property owners for trusting the CGB team with the project.
If you’re looking at upgrading existing fencing or installing a new electric fencing system for horses, livestock, or property management, feel free to get in touch.

Got a few interesting trail cam shots this week and I’d love your thoughts.
Do you reckon these are Wild Dogs or Dingoes?
As most people know, visually it’s extremely difficult to confidently distinguish between a pure dingo, a wild dog, or a hybrid just from photos.
Coat colour, body shape and markings can give hints but they’re not definitive.

Without a DNA sample, you can’t really say with certainty what they are.

In Queensland especially, the term “wild dog” generally refers to dingoes, feral domestic dogs, and hybrids and from a management perspective, they’re all treated the same under legislation.
