Shauna and I went to the Pomona Market this morning, it’s a bit of a change from being the seller to being the buyer but very satisfying.
We bought extra fresh fruit and vegetables from the farmers themselves or a co op of local farmers.
Great coffee and we paid twenty eight dollars for two loaves of bread money well spent. We paid cash for everything so no one had to wear bank fees for our purchases. It feels so good to look after small business and our heroes the farmers. I feel it is as important to know who your money goes to rather than how much. If you can afford it.

A great start to GOURMAY highlighting the amazing produce of the Mary valley.
I had the privilege of sharing some simple recipes using seasonal and regional native fruits. Davison plums,sandpaper figs,lemon aspen and a couple of ringins mountain pepper from Tasmania and Desert limes from Mitchel.
Aided by Malcolm Duncan and the hard working Vanessa my assistant for the last three years who never stops smiling.
