Couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

Well the Wycheproof King of the Mountain was once again a huge success !!!!
What a day ✅✅✅
The atmosphere is truly amazing … the organisation is absolutely first class ! The team of dedicated volunteers really nail it .. the support and safety and operational side is extremely well run (pardon the pun 😜) but honestly you need to give credit where it’s due !
Huge congratulations to every person who entered the competition today ! You are amazing … the spectators get right behind every competitor too which is just as it should be.
I’ve said it before … do yourself a favour and get along to have a look for yourself… I’m sure you will enjoy it.
The afternoon in the park was once again a huge success too.. food, drinks, ice cream, live music and the big screen ✅✅✅
Looking forward to next year again already ( although my body hates me right now 🙈)

So on the way Up the Calder today we blew another tyre! And it was a new one so no fault of ours, I think the roads might be unroadworthy not the trailer. Anyway thanks to quick thinking from Rory of the King of the Mountain’s committee we were saved by the generosity of Luke from LJ Tyre & Auto Service. He took time out to help us when he was on his way up to watch his kids race and also to help his wife set up her icecream van. What a great guy! And thanks for lending us your hubby Sweets & Treats Ice Cream Cart 🥰We hope you had a great day!
