Today Uncle Kaypo is on the washing board.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited us this weekend. We are humbled and grateful that we sold out, but we’re also sorry to those we had to turn away and to those who waited longer than expected for their food.

We’re a small kitchen that cooks everything fresh, and clearly we need to get better at forecasting demand.

Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding. We promise to learn from this and do better next time.

Celebrating cultural diversity! Canning College has students from 36 countries this year and we are so fortunate to be constantly challenged to cook meals from different regions in the world. Today we did a favourite dish from the Gulf States called Machboos. Sharing the world one flavor at a time!

Sometimes the weather tells us to slow down for a day.
