25mm of rain over the weekend and the grass I’ve been saving all year in case of a really dry finish can now be put to use.

These were the last paddocks of grass I had up my sleeve if we got really stuck.

Thankfully we never got to that point, so the bulls have some great feed infront of them and the rest is going into silage.

Pretty happy to be cutting it instead of needing it to get us through.

There's plenty of rain around the country this weekend... just need fall in the right places. This laneway could use a couple drops to start.

The future of waterhole is looking good, our replacement heifers are coming along in leaps and bounds.

These girls have each been hand picked to join the main stud herd. Whilst they've made it this far ultimately fertility is what counts and only time will tell us that.

Calving has been great this year, we've had super results from our AI program, whilst we haven't run the final numbers the percentages this year are fantastic.

Great day on Tuesday, 50mm of rain and a new set of yards delivered. Not sure which I was happier to see!

Sunshine, some welcome rain and a bit of fert and our oats is up and about!

We had a very dry spring and summer so we're looking for a bit of good quick feed to put away for winter.

With a bit of luck the oats keeps up its current pace and we get some quick feed put away 🌾
