Hi. I'm Lo Corcoran, an avid food enthusiast, I enjoy all things food.

A mum to three little girls, Charlotte, Annabelle and Primrose, wife to Tim (Cork Daddy) and living in Boorowa NSW, Australia with our dog Blue. A self confessed "foodie", I’m just as happy sitting down to a piece of Vegemite toast than I am eating out in a hatted restaurant.

I'm constantly looking for inspiration in the kitchen and am always trying out new recipes, whilst creating my own. I love nothing more than to cook for a crowd and enjoy having friends over for dinner.

I hope to pass on my love of cooking to my two little girls and am passionate about teaching kids how to cook good, healthy meals, believing that cooking should be fun. My little "helpers" are just as much a part of Lo's Kitchen as I am.

I collect cookbooks (which means that I am an easy person to buy for), love coffee, own a GIANT portable paella pan and my celebrity crush is Rick Stein (Sorry Jamie, you come in a close second).

My love of cooking started at a young age, spending endless hours in the kitchen with my mum; Meg and grandma; Mim. Many hours were spent at "Jamea" in Trangie during harvest time where we would cook for a tribe of workers and these memories are some of my best.

I believe that all recipes should be shared amongst families and friends. None of that "I can't give away my secrets" nonsense. I am all about the "experience" of cooking and sharing food and am not scared to try new things.

A friend asked me recently, "what made you start this blog?" and my response was "my whole life I have always loved food. Talked about food. Thought about food". My sister Elles and I used to sell orange cordial from a stand outside our house, where we would charge our neighbours 5 cents per cup! I've always dreamt of one day opening a cafe where the menu changes every day, consisting of unpretentious, good, wholesome and fresh food using local, seasonal produce. More importantly, it would have a good relaxed atmosphere and the staff would be as friendly as any person you’ve ever met. A smile goes a long way.
