Your favourite tofu bites are back, babyyy 😍

✨ Pro tip: Tear your tofu by hand instead of cutting – those rough edges = extra crunch = extra flavour!

Golden, crispy tofu tossed in a sticky teriyaki-style glaze, and ready in under 20 minutes! Who's adding this low-maintenance, delicious recipe to their mid-week dinner rotation?

🥢 Ingredients
• 1 block Soyco High Protein Tofu
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tbsp tomato sauce (ketchup)
• 1 clove garlic, grated
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• Cooked rice, for serving
• Baby cucumbers, sliced
• Spring onion, finely sliced
• Sesame seeds, for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions
Tear tofu into bite-sized chunks (trust us!)
Air fry at 200°C for 12–15 mins, shaking halfway
Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, tomato sauce, garlic & sesame oil
Toss crispy tofu in the sauce
Serve over rice
Top with cucumber, spring onion & sesame seeds

1.5 million views?! 🫨 There's a reason this recipe has gone viral.

Throwing it back to one of Soyco’s most-loved recipes 👉 Shaved Tofu Pita Wraps by the wonderful Tess Begg.

Combine a fluffy pita with garlic tahini sauce, fresh parsley salad, shaved tofu, and tangy pickled onion for a delicious, high-protein lunch!

Top tip: For perfectly shaved slices, use firm tofu. Soyco Firm Tofu makes it easy – no pressing needed, with 20g of protein per serve. Find it at Coles 📍

Find the recipe below and start making lunch exciting again 🤌🌯

TOFU:
350g Soyco Firm Tofu
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1.5 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp ground cumin
Pinch of salt and pepper
1.5 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or an all-purpose soy seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil, plus more for pan frying as needed
1 tbsp maple syrup or coconut aminos

GARLIC TAHINI SAUCE:
3/4 cup plain coconut or soy yogurt
1.5 tbsp hulled tahini
Pinch of salt
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1 tsp garlic powder or 1 garlic clove crushed

SALAD:
1 small red onion, finely diced
1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped (roughly 2 cups chopped)
1 cucumber, finely diced
1 large tomato, finely diced
Juice from 1 small lemon
1 tsp olive oil
Pinch of salt

OTHER:
Pita bread
Pickled red onion

METHOD:
1. Using a vegetable peeler, peel the tofu to create thin strips. Add to a large container along with the seasonings, and give it a shake (you can also toss with your hands in a large bowl).

2. Heat a frypan over high heat and add a dash of oil. Add the tofu and cook until lightly golden, tossing occasionally. Alternatively, bake the tofu in a pre-heated oven at 200°C for 20-30 minutes (air frying should work too).

3. Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Toss the salad ingredients together in a large bowl.

4. Heat the pita in the microwave or pan to soften. Add the sauce, tofu, salad and pickled onion. Fold up and enjoy.
