Our Spring 2026 Seedling Sale calendar is confirmed! Add the dates to your calendar now so you will be first in line for our incredible range of homegrown seedlings.

We will be having Seedlings Sales onsite each of these Saturdays.

Each Thursday in spring we will also be back .

We will continue to have a selection available in The Flower Shop on weekends too.

As always there will be an extraordinary selection of cool climate, heirloom, rare, unusual and familiar varieties of vegetable, herb and flower seedlings for you to choose from.

For those new to us keep an eye out for updates here, or join our mailing list. If you wish to do so either send an email to [email protected] or visit our website www.thebrickworksfarmseedlings.com.au and submit a request to join. We will only send an email with a complete list of seedlings available when a Seedling Sale is on.

We look forward to growing alongside you this coming season.

As always please share and bring along all your gardening friends and family.

Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Tomatoes!

We love them. You love them. The garden loves to grow them!

As we are planning and preparing for our 2026 spring collection we are reflecting on last season’s favourites.

Melanie grew nearly 100 varieties over summer. If you visited during one of our Seedling Sales you would have seen the abundance in the garden and hopefully been inspired to grow some different varieties yourself.
April grew about 40 varieties in Bowral, mostly focusing on the dwarf varieties.
It is interesting for us to compare the differences between the two locations and get feedback from you and your experience growing in Robertson, Penrose, Bundanoon, Exeter, Moss Vale, Berrima, Colo Vale, Hill Top and beyond!

It gave us the opportunity to see how well new varieties and old favourites grew, tasted, and how prolific they were.

Here are some favourites from what we grew and plan to grow again.

Most Prolific:
Melanie: Juane Flamme & Hundreds and Thousands
April: Principe Borghese & Juliet

Favourite:
Melanie: Pepper Like Stripe & Queen of the Night
April: Santorini & Bundaberg Rumball

Surprises:
Melanie: Persimmon & Sunrise Bumblebee (very pretty)
April: Golden Sunrise (first fruit in December) & Antoushka

We have plenty of heirloom and cool climate varieties planned as well as some unique and new options for you to grow.

As always please feel welcome to list your favourites in the comments (and your location if willing) to help us and others know. 🌱🍅💚

We will have plenty to choose from when it comes to size, colour, shape and purpose.

Keep tuned for all the updates and our new calendar for spring will be coming out soon.

We have seedlings available in three locations this weekend!

On Saturday, April 18th you can find our full range at The Brickworks Farm on Inkerman Road from 8:30am until 1:30pm. We look forward to seeing you there if you can make it!

In Bowral we will be at The Highlands Pong at Bowral Baptist Church from 9am-2pm with a selection of seedlings. Our lovely friend Alli will be running this. A great option if you are in Bowral and can’t make it to the farm for some quick winter greens.

On both Saturday and Sunday there is a stand available at Burradoo Park Farm at The Flower Shop, open from 10am-2pm both days.

Hopefully this helps you find us on what looks like a busy weekend in the Southern Highlands!

Time to get those last plantings of winter vegetables in! There is a small amount of garlic left, and we will have a great range of sweet peas and snapdragons.

Lovely herbs for winter too including chervil, dill, parsley and coriander.

Plenty of cauliflower available along with some beautiful broccoli and winter lettuce.

All locally grown right here in the Southern Highlands.

We are open at the farm this Saturday, March 28th with a wonderful range of vegetable, herb and flower seedlings in punnets, pots and as single cells.
Now is the perfect time to plant garlic and we have three varieties available.
We also have green manure available if you will have any empty garden beds over winter that you would like to improve the condition of.
Now is the perfect time to get your winter greens in so they get a head start before the soil cools down.
Herbs that are suitable for the cool weather include Dill, Coriander, Parsley and Chervil which we have available.
