Got experimental and tried making a chocolate Bundt cake with chocolate sourdough starter in it. Let’s just say it was a hit!

What was inside my daughters first birthday cake 🍫 ✨

Ie. chocolate mud cake layers, chocolate fudge buttercream, and a dark chocolate mousse

Banana maple smash cake (naturally sweetened) 🍌 🍁 ✨

Ingredients for high protein banana pancakes:
2 egg whites
1 cup self raising flour
2 bananas
Milk to adjust consistency
2tbsp oil of choice

1. Mash banana, add in egg and whisk till light and fluffy
2. Add in oil and whisk to combine
3. Sift in flour and fold to combine (be careful not to overmix)
4. Optionally add in some sprinkles (obviously not sugar free but they are a lot of fun)
5. Cook in a medium heat pan, flipping once they bubble
6. Allow to cool completely

Whipped cream
1tbsp maple syrup
1tsp alcohol free vanilla extract
200mls cream

Whip all ingredients together until stiff peaks

Assemble and enjoy!

My latest craving, a tiramisu crepe cake with 18 trimmed to be perfectly circular vanilla crepes, layered with espresso infused Marscapone whipped cream, and dustings of cocoa powder 🍫 ☕️ ✨
