Unfortunately despite how clean the coop and boxes are we are seeing some mud being transferred from the feather footed ladies onto some eggs due to all this rain, essentially the white eggs 😓
Don’t worry though, they are still perfectly safe to incubate

Eggs sold and on their way to their new home. Currently collecting for pickup, ill update this weekend with whats left available for post on Monday/Tuesday

Oops sorry little one. I thought I had put this batch in early lockdown as I had a busy day yesterday with a family outing, I often do early lockdown with my bantam eggs anyway since they can hatch a few days early. Well imagine my shock today (day 19) when I walk into my incubator room and see empty hatchers but hear peeping! Already dry and fluffy
I did have a hatcher up and running plus the auto turner unplugged but forgot to actually move the eggs 😭 chick and eggs are now in the hatching incubator.

How adorable are these little guys. Frizzle Pekin x Polish.
We will have some of these available in the following days/weeks plus some other frizzle crosses including frizzle Easter eggers.
Limited Frizzle rainbow dozens available. I only have one eggspress safe carton remaining for Monday but will hopefully have more cartons delivered Tuesday 🤞

New breed, Brahma!
Currently hatching some new breeds in preparation for bigger and better things to come with a larger property. Sadly the move won’t be until later next year but that will give me time to source/hatch and raise birds that should be ready to go after the move just like this white Brahma and it’s fellow white, blue and black hatch mates🤞
I would also like to apologise for my posting which has far and few between, there is currently a lot going on at the moment taking up much of my time.
I will have limited rainbow dozens, day old and started chicks which I will post as they become available

I have this adorable little pullet available. She’s a white leghorn cross cream Legbar so you can expect lots of large light blue eggs.
Also available 2x commercial leghorn POL pullets, one doesn’t look far off laying

Ah children’s sickness, baby teething, unexpected dental issue.. I’ll get around to taking photos of the young birds available asap. For now here is a photo of my new egg cup, with a bonus kitty

I’m currently sorting through some chicks and will have some becoming available over the next few days. I need to get pictures but so far I do know I have off heat 1x Welsummer pullet, 1x silver duckwing Welsummer cockerel, 1x Polish pullet. Welsummers come from a well known breeder.
Will be sorting through some pet quality Araucana, perfect to add some blue to your egg basket.

This young gentleman doesn’t have any Pekin bantam ladies of his own yet (I only hatched him and his his frizzle sister)
Should I start some frizzle “Easter eggers” 🤔
Offspring would lay a blue - bluish green egg and have 50% chance of being frizzle with a body type closer to a Pekin Bantam but with a beard.
