Sometimes we just have to throw Head Brewer Chris into the deep end with a style of beer he’s never done before.

A cider brew day is a BIG day around here.

It starts at 4am for Stu, heading out to an orchard in Stanthorpe to pick up apples freshly pressed that morning. Then it’s straight back to the brewery, so that the fresh apple juice is in the tank and fermenting within just a few hours of being pressed.

It’s a big effort, but that’s kind of the point. As fresh and local as possible. And you can taste the difference.

Do you know what Dad really wants for Father’s Day?

This Father’s Day, we’ve got our proper Sunday roast. Roast beef, crispy potatoes, roasted veg, house-made gravy and a Yorkshire pudding roughly the size of your head.

And because apparently that’s not enough, there’s stuffing, creamy leeks and cauliflower cheese to add to it as well… So when we say a proper roast to enjoy with dad, we mean proper roast.

It’s shaping up to be a big one at the brewery this weekend.

With the EKKA rolling into town, our brand new Strawberries and Cream Sour has hit the taps (taste just like the famous Sundae!) and Birria Tacos are BACK!!

Plus we’ll have wallabies on the big screen, along with the Lions and Bronco’s, and Oliver Peel will be playing from 5pm as we continue Live Music Saturdays.
