This is true isn’t it?

Happy drinking 🍷

The common problem with sampling wines throughout the week? You open a bottle for “just one glass”… and suddenly you feel pressured to finish it before the wine fades away. That’s exactly where the Coravin Pivot+ has become a game changer for me.

Instead of rushing through bottles, the Pivot+ lets me enjoy wine at my own pace while keeping the remaining wine surprisingly fresh for days, even weeks (up to 4 actually!). Perfect for anyone who loves tasting different wines without the guilt of wasting what’s left behind.

The system is incredibly simple to use, and honestly, it’s made weeknight wine drinking far more enjoyable. One night can be a Clare Valley Shiraz, the next a Chardonnay, without feeling like I need to commit to finishing the whole bottle.

For wine lovers who constantly have multiple bottles open “for research purposes”, this thing just makes sense. A genuinely handy bit of kit that’s earned a permanent spot in my wine routine. Link in my bio for more info 🙌🙌🙌

Claymore Wines and their 2023 Blackbird Sangiovese. The kind of wine that disappears faster than your plans to “just have one glass.” No complaints though, only that the bottle went too fast!

Bright cherry, wild herbs and a little savoury spice all wrapped up in a silky, dangerously smashable drop. Fresh, vibrant, juicy and ridiculously easy to drink.

And the bottle artwork? Honestly deserves its own spot in the house once the wine’s gone. UK based illustrator Helena Perez Garcia, the master mind behind this gorgeous piece. A proper eye-catcher before you even indulge in the wine itself. Gorgeous inside and out.

and their 2022 Gorgeous Grenache. Bright red berries, soft spice, and so ridiculously smooth it practically disappears from the glass. Light-bodied, juicy, and dangerously smashable, this is the kind of wine that starts as “a quick taste” and somehow ends with an empty bottle. Gorgeous all round for sure!

Volo Wines and their 2022 Single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon out of Margaret River. Small format winery, sure. Large forward wine? Absolutely! A kind of wine that walks into the room in a blazer and somehow still ends up doing karaoke. Class in a glass material!

Straight up, it’s all blackcurrant, a bit of minty freshness, and just enough oak to remind you it’s classy—but not “lecture you about decanting for 3 hours” classy. Tannins are firm but polite… like they’ll shake your hand firmly.

Dangerously easy to drink for something that feels this sophisticated. Proceed with confidence… and maybe a backup bottle. Goes without saying I’ll be stocking up on this bad boy!

Chapel Hill “The Parson” 2025 Chardonnay. A Chard that skipped the butter factory and went straight to the citrus orchard. Think crisp apple, a squeeze of lemon, and just enough zing to make your taste buds sit up like they’ve had a double espresso.

Pale straw appearance. Refreshing, slightly cheeky, and dangerously easy to keep sipping—basically the kind of wine that says, “one glass?” and means “absolutely not.” Certified cracker of a wine, and perfect for a Friday arvo 👌

Can be 1 glass or a whole bottle. I’m not fussy 🙌🙌🥂🥂🍷🍷

The kind of wine that makes you confidently say “just one glass” and then immediately forget your own rules. That’s Rockford and their 2018 Moppa Springs GSM.

On the nose, it’s like someone invited a basket of ripe berries to a barbecue and things got a little out of hand—in a good way. Juicy plum, raspberry, a bit of spice… and that subtle “I’m so glad I decanted this”

First sip? Smooth operator. Grenache brings the juicy charm, Shiraz flexes a bit of muscle, and Mataro just stands in the corner adding mystery like it knows something you don’t. It’s rich without being heavy. Mid-palate hits with a warm hug of spice and dark fruit, followed by tannins that are present but polite. Finish is long enough to make you pause… and then pour another glass “just to confirm.”

Overall: dangerously drinkable, class in a glass. But hey, that’s what you’d expect from Rockford.

It’s written in the clouds! It’s definitely time for a glass!
