Time to venture a little off the beaten w**e track with these w**es!

Introductions Meteora Vineyard mediterranean varieties (coming very soon) . Joining an already stacked lineup w**es available, these varieties showcase why the Granite belt are able to produce these Mediterranean varieties so well! First on the list their 2025 “Monty” Montepulciano and 2025 “Lincoln” Langrein.

Certainly not the first variety that comes to mind when you think Australian w**e, but that’s exactly what makes this 2025 “Monty” Montepulciano so interesting. It’s dishing out surprises!
•
👃- Dark cherries, plums, a little spice and a subtle earthy savouriness.
•
👅 - Juicy dark fruit, bright acidity and some gentle tannins giving it a nice bit of structure. It’s medium-bodied, fresh and incredibly easy to drink without feeling like a big, heavy red.
•
A lovely balance between fruit, savouriness and freshness, making this one that could happily sit alongside a pizza, pasta or a something as simply as a BBQ!

Lagrein isn’t a variety you see every day in Australia, although Meteroa is certainly showcasing an elegance of this variety! Insert their 2025 “Lincoln” Lagrein.

👃 Bright red berries, cherries, a touch of spice and some earthy savouriness.
•
👅 Fresh and juicy up front, with dark cherry and berry flavours, a subtle savoury edge and some nice structure without feeling too heavy.
•
Being such a cooler climate on the GB is really suits this style, giving the w**e plenty of freshness while still bringing some darker-fruited character.

Juicy Barossa fruit, a bit of spice, a bit of savoury funk and plenty of drinkability. Welcome Torbreck and their 2023 Cuvée Juveniles. A Barossa Valley Rhône-inspired red blend. The blend is 48% Grenache, 28% Mataro, 13% Carignan, 6% Counoise and 5% Shiraz.

A drop with enough going on to make you think about it, but not so much that you need a w**e degree to enjoy it 🙌🙌

Fresh, crisp and seriously easy to drink. That Temple Bruer W**es and their 2021 Cuvée Brut. Think bright citrus, green apple and a little creamy biscuit coming through, with a lovely fine bubble and refreshing finish.

Organic, preservative-free and vegan friendly too — but most importantly… it tastes bloody good. Pop it, pour it, and let the good times roll. 🍾🥂🍾

Red w**e that doesn’t need a complicated occasion. Chuck it in the fridge, crack it open and let the good times roll. Insert Beyond the Glass 24 Kappa. A cheeky blend of Montepulciano, Sangiovese,
Grenache Blanc, Syrah, Grenache Noir.

What do all these varieties achieve? A lip smacking red blend that is a no bu****it, chilled in fridge approved, smashable drop! Bravo 👏
