🌿🐦 **Protecting Our Wildlife from H5 Bird Flu**
H5 bird flu is a serious disease that can affect wild birds and some mammals. If it establishes in Australia, it could have significant impacts on our native wildlife, ecosystems and biodiversity.
**Everyone can help protect our wildlife:**
🐦 **Report** groups of sick or dead birds or other wildlife.
🐕 **Keep dogs on a leash** and cats contained, particularly around wildlife.
🚫 **Don’t touch or move** sick or dead birds or other animals.
📸 **Record** what you see, including photos or video, the date, time and location.
📞 **Report** sightings to the **Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888**.
Remember: **AVOID • RECORD • REPORT**
Early reporting can make a difference in protecting our wildlife and natural environment.
