🍻 Now THIS is how you do a Friday in Mudgee!

How good is this crew from The Hills in Sydney.

We had these absolute legends drop into Small Batch today, Friday 23 October, soaking up a bit of Mudgee sunshine, enjoying a few cold b**rs and having a bloody good time!

They love Mudgee, and we love seeing groups of mates getting together and making the most of our little slice of paradise! ❤️

A little “research” from across the ditch… 🍻🇳🇿

One thing our NZ trip made very clear: the independent craft b**r scene over there is absolutely humming.

From breweries in the mountains to cans picked up along the way, we found bold flavours, brilliant artwork and brewers who clearly aren’t afraid to have a crack at something different.

Hazy IPAs, Nectaron loaded IPAs, Yuzu Hazy IPA, Salted Caramel Wh**ky Stout, Triple Cream Milk Stout… safe to say we took our research responsibilities pretty seriously.

What impressed us most though was seeing independent b**r genuinely supported. In pubs, restaurants, ski fields and even premium golf courses, local and independent breweries were given space to shine.

Plenty of inspiration coming home with us to Mudgee.

Research trip complete. Ideas brewing. 🍺

Views like this make it pretty hard to concentrate on the golf. 😂⛳️🏔️

An incredible day at Jacks Point Golf Course. Easily one of the most spectacular courses we’ve played, with the Remarkables towering over you, ridiculous views at every turn and skydivers dropping out of the sky while you’re trying to line up a putt.

Massive respect as well for a premium course like this backing independent breweries. Finding Canyon Brewing pouring around the course was a very welcome sight and something we absolutely love to see. 🍺

And somehow, amongst all the sightseeing and b**r appreciation, managed to get around this seriously tough course in a very respectable 89. We’ll take that!

Taking Small Batch to the top of Cardrona 🍺🏔️

Fresh snow, blizzards, ridiculous views and a Canyon Brewing Hazy 80’s on the slopes. Safe to say we approve of après ski New Zealand style.

And when the clouds finally cleared… Dream Big. Brew Small. felt pretty bloody appropriate.

Finished the day warming up and refuelling at the iconic cardronahotel

Cheers to Cardrona Alpine Resort, NZ for an epic day and canyonbrewing for the mountain b**rs. 🍻

⛳ ANOTHER HOLE IN ONE!

The 17th at Mudgee Golf Club has claimed another victim… or should we say winner! 😂

Huge congratulations to Tim, who drained it for a HOLE IN ONE and scored himself a $50 Small Batch voucher in the process.

🔥 WHAT A SUNDAY! 🍺🚒

A cracking day at Small Batch with the Lawson Rural Fire Brigade crew joining us for Get Fire Ready Weekend.

Plenty of sunshine, a packed brewery, fire trucks on the lawn, a few questionable attempts at becoming honorary firefighters 😂 and, of course, plenty of cold Small Batch b**rs flowing.

A huge thanks to the Lawson RFS volunteers for spending the day with us, chatting fire plans, keeping the kids entertained and helping our community get ready for the season ahead.

And thanks to everyone who came out and made the place absolutely hum today. ❤️
