We would like to point out that all the committee are volunteers and have full time jobs. Prior to the show we spend a lot of time - our own time to attempt to organise a good show. Canberra Royal only have 3 full time staff and as such have a large amount to work to get done after the show which they try to do in a timely manner.
As a committee members we try to ensure that things go smoothly but some times they don’t. We ask that people have respect for staff and volunteers if you have dealings with us.
It would be very easy for us as committee members to walk away from organising the show and let someone else do it, but as we know who is going to give up their time. As an exhibitor of the Canberra Royal Cattle Show you agree to abide by our rules and exhibitor behaviour. Any one who does not wish to abide by these rules please do not enter. You make that decision to enter, so please abide by the rules.

Please find the updated steer results. As we said some incorrect data was recorded and has now been updated. In the Export class there is 2 different categories and the highlighted steers are in the c category with a different P8 fat specification, to the D category.

The Champion carcass has not changed as a result of the update with the Reserve Champion being St John College.
