Truly thankful for the opportunity to cater for a special mob of elders doing wonderful things for the community. They enjoyed traditional scones with jam & honey whipped cream.
Lunch I treated them with Lemon Myrtle Chicken Curry, basmati and naan. And two little fruit platters ❤️
A proud day for me 🙌

Happy National Donut Day.
The first Friday in June every year is National Donut Day, a celebration to honour the Salvation Army “Lassies” that handed out donuts to soldiers on the front line in WW1. A historical tribute, It recognizes the volunteers who brought comfort, boosted troop morale, and are credited with popularizing the sweet donut to what it is today. Established in 1938, the day was originally created as a fundraiser to support the Salvation Army’s social services, which were crucial at that time, and in this time, for many communities around the globe.

A Sea of Hands - Reconciliation Week.
I provided yummy tucka for a special “little” mob today. The QPRC Pre School Association champion the path to reconciliation, holding an all inclusive event. Every year they bring the pre school communities together to celebrate, reflect and learn about culture and tradition.
Very proud to be a part of this deadly event ❤️

I had the honour of catering for the ACT Emergency Services Association this evening. A sunset smoking ceremony paired with amazing people sharing culture through dance, song lines and traditional land management practices.
Accepting diversity and illuminating inclusion to the path forward.
