It’s .cafe 2nd birthday, so of course we had to go celebrate with a dot cookie, dot latte and a Mont Blanc thrown in there for good measure 🤭🎂🌈🍪

About last night 🤤 Confirming .minima current tasting menu is fire.

Deedee has been to minima like four times now, but I hadn’t been yet and it had been on my list for so long! We sat up on the bar and watched the chefs watch their magic and ate delicious after delicious bite.

The tasting menu is $95 and you get most of the menu included. We opted to add Kilcoy Striploin for an additional $15pp. We were seriously full by the end and would have left full without it… but it was an excellent edition, so no regrets 🤭

We ate:

- Bánh hói, pickled carrot & chilli, shallot oil, perilla leaf
- Moreton Bay Bug tart, macadamia cream, palm seed, amazake
- Sweet & sour pulled short rib sloppy joe
- Mapo style tofu with doubanjiang & blue cheese, sautéed Swiss chard
- Char siu pork sausage, winter pickle salad, furu glaze
- Kilcoy striploin MBS4+, sauce anisée, black barley butter
- Fried lemon chicken, thyme, chilli & garlic oil Masala
- South Coast Snapper, roast pumpkin, tomato & caper salad
- Jasmine rice
- Sticky date pudding

We heard .elmo_cbr in Torrens sold freshly made pasta, but I have to say when we went into the store on the weekend looking for some fresh pasta we weren’t expecting to walk out with everything we needed to make Carbonara! We had thought we’d be off to the markets next to get the rest of our ingredients.

And bonus - it led to a very delicious dinner (shout out to the home chef for executing the meal, who was not me) and we even snagged two tasty tiramisus for dessert.

We have our eye on the Ravioli or seasonal filled pasta for next time 🤤
