They chicks are typically feather sexed at hatching and can be easily identified as they grow out to avoid unwanted getting attached to unwanted roosters.

I have some off season barnevelder and cream legbar eggs available for $30 if anyone is looking to accommodate a broody hen or to incubate.

Both breeds can be sexed on hatching so they are great for backyards that can't keep roosters.

Our 4 remaining guinea from this seasons hatch aren't so little anymore.

It has been a lovely experience watching them grow and interact with the adults and goats.

The adults have been very protective, unfortunately not from the high flying predators that arrived to pick them off one by one.
