Such an amazing day serving Coffin Bay oysters to the Variety SA visitors. Coffin Bay growers donated 80 dozen oysters today which were all eaten quickly.
And thanks to the growers, they have also donated more oysters they have been sold which has raised an extra $4000 for Variety SA.

Friday fundraiser- we have joined with other oyster growers to fundraise for Variety SA.
Order via Gazander Oysters and collect from Jump Ship on Friday.

🦪 COFFIN BAY OYSTERS FOR VARIETY – 5 DOZEN FOR $75 🦪

This Thursday, the Variety Bash rolls into Coffin Bay, and our local oyster industry is getting behind them!

We’ll have Denalon Aquaculture’s boat moored just off the Yacht Club, where Bash participants can walk out, meet some of our local growers and enjoy Coffin Bay oysters donated for the day. A pretty special opportunity to show off not only our oysters, but the people behind them.

Then on Friday, we’re keeping the fundraising going!

Our growers are donating extra 5-dozen bags of oysters, which we’re selling to the public for just $75 per bag, with 100% of every sale going directly to Variety – the Children’s Charity.

Each bag will come directly from one Coffin Bay grower — not mixed — with bags donated by a variety of growers around the bay.

Collection will be -

📍 Jump Ship Brewery, Port Lincoln
📅 Friday 14 August
⏰ 4–6pm collection
🦪 5 dozen – $75

And Jump Ship has 2-for-1 pints from 3–6pm, so Friday knock-offs are sorted too!

Seafood Directions 2026- Sydney. What an amazing time learning and networking in Sydney wth the best from the seafood industry.
Thank you to Women in Seafood Australasia for the bursary so I could attend this conference.
And for the opportunity to speak at the conference and share all the opportunities I have had after completing the Turn the Tide program.
So lovely to meet new people and chat about the amazing industry we work in and have a dance at the gala dinner.

Visited the new Sydney Fish Market and had a behind the scene tour to see how it operates.

Now back to growing the beautiful oysters 🦪 in Coffin Bay. This is the best time of year to enjoy them.

Winter mornings… we have had beautiful calm mornings lately. Definitely a cold start to the day.

It’s been a few years since we posted, but we are ready to share our oysters and behind the scenes with you again.
