No Works Lovers, we've got some breaking news...

THERE'S ACTUALLY SOMETHING HAPPENING TODAY! 😳

Yep. Day 322 and we can see activity.

But there's a slight problem.

It appears our usual way of getting out has been cut off, and we're not entirely sure how we're supposed to leave.

So getting out tonight could be an adventure. 😂

But that's not the biggest development.

Something strange is happening with the traffic cones.

We think...

THE CONES ARE HAVING BABIES.

Little cones are popping up everywhere.

They've multiplied.

They've organised.

And now...

THE CONE ARMY IS CONSPIRING AGAINST THE SUPERMARKET MAN. 😂

He was running.

He thought he could get away.

Then he heard the description of the suspect...

🚧 DAY 315 OF 150 — LET'S LOOK FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE

This week we're filming from somewhere different.

Why?

Because our normal spot doesn't really show the full picture of what businesses and customers have been dealing with around here.

The entry is still rough — although we'll admit it's probably better than it was.

But here's the part you don't normally see:

🚗 We've been driving through this area and over a steel plate EVERY DAY for around six months just to get out.

There IS some progress in the distance.

They're actually working down there.

But in the area we're showing you today?

Literally zero visible progress this week.

On the positive side...

🌱 The grass is looking beautiful.

The road?

We'll leave that judgement to you. 😂

🚧 DAY 308 OF 150 — WE'RE WATCHING GRASS GROW 🌱😂

Another week. Another inspection of the RAAF Base Darwin roadworks.

And today's exciting update?

Laing O'Rourke managed to move the cone that was sitting in the middle of the road. So maybe that section is nearly finished.

But instead of standing around watching the roadworks...

We've found something more exciting.

🌱 Watching grass grow.

Why?

Because apparently it's faster than watching the roadworks. 😂

🚧 DAY 301 OF 150 – WE'VE BROKEN 300 DAYS! 🚧

Welcome back to Australia's favourite never-ending roadworks. 😂

Today's inspection:

❌ Road still not finished
📏 Road surface still isn't level
🚧 More road apparently still needs to go down
🎩 The famous cone hats have disappeared

But forget all that...

We have BIG NEWS.

🏊 THE WINNELLIE SWIMMING POOL HAS BEEN FIXED!

After months of watching our unofficial roadside aquatic centre, apparently the swimming days are over.

If you want to go swimming in Winnellie now, you'll have to bring your own pool. 😂

🚧 Day 294 of 150 – We Filmed It Early... Because Nothing Changes! 🚧

This week's update was filmed a couple of days early.

Why?

Because after nearly 300 days, we didn't expect much to change... and we weren't wrong.

There may have been one new object on site—we're not even sure if it was there last week—but apart from that, it's another week with no obvious visible progress.

The electronic sign is still happily flashing arrows in every direction, while the roadworks themselves appear much the same.

The nearby pool is looking more complete than the road.

We'll keep documenting the project until the barriers finally disappear.
