LIDS! LIDS! LIDS!

Have you noticed our new Saturday Night Pasta lids?
Move over, generic black lids, and make way for our bright red personalised lids, baby!

You’ll see them slowly rolling out across the range, so there’ll be a slightly awkward changeover period as old stock makes way for the new. Nothing’s perfect, and I figure we’re all part of this SNP journey, so you get to see the evolution as it happens.
It might not seem like a big deal, but anyone who’s started a business knows it’s these little updates that feel like huge milestones worth celebrating.

So, here’s to new lids! (Never thought I’d say that)

Our sauces start here 🍅🇦🇺

A few months ago, on a very hot summer’s day, I visited the farm where the tomatoes for Saturday Night Pasta sauces are grown.

I walked the fields, met the farmers, rode the harvester, spent time with my wonderful manufacturer Simon@market and tasted the tomatoes that would become the base of every jar of SNP..

This is the part of food that I wish we saw more of.
Because behind every ingredient is a person. A place. A process.

Today’s ABC News Four Corners investigation into tomato products is a good reminder to look a little closer at what’s inside the products we buy - the trust we place in the brands we choose, and the story behind the food we bring into our homes.

I have always believed that the quality of ingredients matters. We use real tomatoes, grown in Australia, slowly cooked into a sauce with a short ingredient list.

I didn’t want convenience to come at the expense of quality.
And I hope that care comes through in every bowl of pasta you make with it Saturday Night Pasta 🍝
