Silky 💅🏽

Our original and signature sauce. Dirty martini with a splash of cream cradled in Tulipano.

When I first launched dirty martini, there was only one vodka sauce on the shelf from Italy and it was full of preservatives. I wanted to do it better, and do it my way. And who doesn’t love a dirty martini anyway?! Olive brine is one of my favourite secret ingredients to add an oophm to dishes, so I used this approach with the classic vodka sauce, then put an Aussie twist - Archie Rose Distilling Co. vodka beautiful Aussie sun ripened tomatoes, lemon myrtle leaves and Toolunka Creek Olives olive brine.

She’s a signature for a reason.

Thinking about dinner? Here’s one that will be ready in two shakes of a lambs tail.

SNP cheesy pasta tray bake
Cook big pasta shapes (like the shells in the photos) molto al dente (a couple of minutes less than the packet says)

Toss pasta through your favourite SNP sauce (Dirty Martini, Some Like It Hot, Red Red Wine or Home Base)

Stir through a k**b of butter and a good grating of parmigiano reggiano.

Spoon onto a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, tear pieces from a ball of buffalo mozzarella and shower with more parmigiano reggiano

Place under the grill for 5–10 minutes, until bubbly and irresistible.

Serve with a simple side salad. Done.

PS. I will often fry up some nuggets of sausages I’ve squeezed out from their casings, then toss it in with the pasta and sauce.

LIDS! LIDS! LIDS!

Have you noticed our new Saturday Night Pasta lids?
Move over, generic black lids, and make way for our bright red personalised lids, baby!

You’ll see them slowly rolling out across the range, so there’ll be a slightly awkward changeover period as old stock makes way for the new. Nothing’s perfect, and I figure we’re all part of this SNP journey, so you get to see the evolution as it happens.
It might not seem like a big deal, but anyone who’s started a business knows it’s these little updates that feel like huge milestones worth celebrating.

So, here’s to new lids! (Never thought I’d say that)
