When you find a $3 bargain at Wayne’s World and suddenly realise you’ve found the perfect strawberry protector! 😂

Yep, this little laundry basket has officially been repurposed to keep the local wildlife from helping themselves to our strawberries. 🐦🦎🍓

And honestly… look at that colour match! 🍓 The basket is practically strawberry camouflage! 😂

And the King Pink Protea… well, she's in a league of her own. 👑💗

These STIHL Australia secateurs from Stihl Shop Esk Small Engines are amazing and absolutely perfect for cutting our Protea flowers. 🌿🌸

There’s something pretty exciting about finding the right tools for the job—especially when the job involves beautiful blooms! 💚

Weeds can be a real headache for both suburban gardeners and farmers. 🌼

This cute little yellow flower might look harmless, but it's actually toxic to livestock. That's why keeping on top of weeds is so important on a farm. Unfortunately, not everyone seems to treat them with the urgency they deserve.

Here at G's Lane Esk, we choose a chemical-free approach. It's not the quickest or easiest method, but a bit of elbow grease and pulling them out by hand helps protect our land while keeping things as natural as possible. Keeping in mind what you put on your land can end up in you if you produce any kind of food.

🤣 We have finally found something with a bit of value!

It's unbelievable how much rubbish we uncover around G's Lane Esk—and it's definitely not all in one spot. Every clean-up seems to reveal another surprise, but every now and then we strike gold... or at least something worth getting excited about! 😂

There's never a dull moment on the farm, and every discovery tells a little story about the land.
