Two new beers out today, and a pretty big night of footy ahead.

Bright Side is our new West Coast Pilsner. Crisp and lager-like, but with the hop saturation of an IPA.

And Field Day #6 is the latest in our hazy IPA series, this time with Sabro, Idaho 7 and Luminosa. Vibrant, punchy.

Both are pouring on tap from today, with cans in the fridge too.

And tonight, Freo take on Hawthorn from 6:10pm.

Just quietly, the next of our Classic Series is on tap.

Dunkelweizen — Hefeweizen’s darker, toastier relative.

Sourdough and toasted malt, with clove, apple and a little banana. This one’s giving us a particularly lovely apple cake thing.

Deluxe Lager has made its way to Denmark and appears to be settling in nicely.

Meanwhile back in Beaconsfield, Shapiros are slinging crumbed snapper burgers with dill tartare, the sun’s out, and the beers are cold.

Close enough to Copenhagen for us.

Not every beer needs to be hazy, double dry hopped, and named after a space dinosaur.

Beer's been around for thousands of years, and some of the world's greatest beer styles have kind of disappeared from the conversation.

So we're starting a new series called Classics.

Not because we think beer was better in the old days, but because there are so many incredible styles that deserve another look.

Some will be famous. Some will be obscure. Some might become your new favourite beer.

For us, it's a chance to explore the beers that shaped brewing and tell the stories behind them.

And we're kicking things off with our first release:
VIENNA LAGER.
