Hello Everyone,
My name is Jim Tessier, and I am 12 years old and live in the Lockyer Valley. This year I have taken up leather work after being inspired by another young entrepreneur and have spent many weeks refining my skill through tuition. Here at J.T. Leather Co. I
ensure that all products meet a high standard so I can guarantee great quality.

As I have only started out I currently only have 4 types of products available at the moment:

Leather Bookmark. This leather Bookmark is made using 100% premium bovine leather and has a minimalist design with the dimensions 15cm x 4cm. This is the perfect gift for any book lover or anyone who likes to read. It features J.T. Leather Co’s maker mark, smooth burnished edges and a leather tail. $12 – Free Postage

Premium Leather Belts. These Leather belts are made using Premium Italian Bovine Butt Hide, this leather is the most durable and long-lasting leather on the market. You will immediately see and feel the difference in both weight, texture and appearance between our belts and what you might purchase in most shops. You may see these cheaper belts being sold for $30 – $40 each, and when you check the flesh side there will be a stamp indicating it is ‘Genuine Leather’. Don’t be fooled, as ‘Genuine Leather’ is many off-cuts and small strips of thin leather all pressed together with chemicals to create a weak MDF type of leather which is likely to peel and liable to break. If you are looking for a long lasting and durable belt with timeless style, our premium leather is the best option.

Good Evening, Customers,

Due to lack of interest from Brisbane customers we are changing our next delivery to a Lockyer Valley-Toowoomba location on Saturday 6 June and we have 5 of 12 quarters available. Ipswich and Brisbane customers, we will try again at another date and hopefully will have enough of you to make the trip.

The following picture is a sample of some of our newest arrivals. We have a generational herd, that has over 60 years worth of specialised breeding. We do not buy from unknown vendors at sale yards, to ensure purity in our herd and to be fully in control of our entire operation.

We also have some exciting news regarding tallow products made from our own grass fed suet. Stay tuned!

Check out this triple threat that is about to fill some of the freezers in the Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba. The carcass weights were fantastic and all final invoices have been emailed.

Our next delivery is a Lockyer Valley-Ipswich-Brisbane location on Saturday June 6 and we have all 12 quarters available.

The following steer is one that you won't be eating if I have my way. At the moment he is helping to train our kelpie pup, Eric, plus, he is a super cuddly fellow and now I'm too attached! However, we have plenty of his half brothers and sisters ready to go over the coming months.

We are so grateful for all the recent rain - it's made such a difference in our paddocks already. And I'm not the only one who thinks it is wonderful looking out on the lush, green grass growth - as per the images below!

Hello Customers,

Here is a picture of one of our new bull's first calves. He is 3 months old today, and his mum, Jordan, is doing a great job feeding him up in these dry conditions. He's a fantastic type and we'd probably call him Michael if we named bull calves (which we don't).

There are only 2 quarters left available for the November 9 Lockyer Valley delivery. This is our second last delivery for 2025.

There are 7 quarters left in the December 7 Lockyer Valley-Toowoomba delivery. This is our last delivery for 2025.

We've also had to pass on the increased cut up fees from our butcher, which we have absorbed ourselves since September - we are now selling at $15 per kg.
