Just got my hands on the new Freedom Wire Weeder kit from via 🌱✨
Been a long-time fan of the Mutineer Wire Weeders, and honestly… this new kit might just steal the show. Smooth, precise, and feels like it’s made for late-night weeding sessions (or just looking cool while you work).
Already thinking this could become my new go-to cultivation tool — sorry old faithful stirrup hoe, you’ve got competition 😏

Say hello to this beautiful Green Crisp — an Italian heirloom bringing serious texture, sweetness, and crunch to our lettuce mixes 🥬✨
Crisp enough for salads, but absolutely perfect stacked in burgers and sandwiches.

Grown slow under real Tassie sun and looking pretty damn good while doing it.
Seeds from .bio and the trusty tools from keeping the rows tight and the greens flowing.

We’ve been slipping baby rainbow chard into our Mesclun Mix and it’s doing exactly what we hoped ✨
A little more crunch, a little more body, and that mild, earthy sweetness that balances the softer leaves perfectly.
Picked young for tender stems and silky leaves, it brings texture without overpowering—just enough colour and chew to keep every bite interesting.
Grown regeneratively, organically, in real soil, under real Tasmanian sunlight ☀️
No shortcuts. No seasons skipped. Just what’s thriving right now, harvested at its best.
Diversity in the bed = diversity on the plate 🥗

Planted out the freshly prepped beds in my favourite little corner — that odd, triangular, mostly-shaded patch by the river and the tall eucalypts, where the neighbours’ cows like to drop by. 🌱🌦️ Finally warm enough in southern Tassie for direct seeding, with sunny breaks between light showers. Couldn’t ask for a better start. 💚
