Up to my eyeballs in vet bills! If anyone is looking for an incubator I have reduced my fiem 72 to $550 and will include my double story brooder box (advertised for $100). Holds about 20-25 chicks per shelf, was great just moving to a bigger one.

Can also throw in some feeders and waterers for chicks if wanted.

No holds, please no time wasters.

Can move rods to accommodate smaller (quail) or bigger eggs including emu, goose, peacock ect.
Great incubator, simple to use, I have hatched hundreds of chicks in 🐣
If you don't have quite enough chickens to fill it i have had success with putting different lots of eggs in to hatch at different times and seperating into hatching bags at lock down 😊
The middle hinge of the door unfortunately was a bit dicky when I received it and didn't quite slot in properly, which eventually led to it cracking, as shown, this doesn't effect use at all (still hatched successfully all season) but someone handy may have a way to secure it a bit better, I just put tape over 😊
Has a light inside (seperate switch to the on off switch) and I believe you can attach a humidity pump (but don't quote me on that!
Separate little glass thermometer on inside, and can include another little digital one.
Last photo to show temperature accuracy (photos where temp is low incubator is switched off)

I have two blanks of wood I put in the front of each section to stop chicks jumping out,

Just needs a handy husband to secure the the front flappy part down,

I also cut the hole bigger to allow the hens to go in and out easily, have bottom/base parts to go with it but if you don't have rats or foxes can easily just sit it on lawn or pavers ect

Handy to have just have enough bigger ones now 😊

Thank you to everyone who supported us through 2025, I hope your chicks are growing well and perhaps nearing your first eggs 🥚 form them 🐔 we only have a few chicks left to find homes then having a big clean out of cages/pens and sit back and watch our young keeper pullets grow!

In 2026 I am hoping to focus more on working towards correct colour breeding groups (permitting numbers allow it) and of course quality is always something I strive to improve on and add to my flock.

I have added a couple of new breeds that I only intended on keeping trios 🐔🐔🐔

Breeds that I plan on hatching include
-Pekin Bantam in Milliefluer/porcelain, blue/splash (including frizzle), buff/buff laced, would like to add chocolate 🍫 and potentially columbian at some stage

-Silkies in white/splash (would like to add lemon if I can find some!)

-Brahma in blue and splash Partridge

-Japanese Bantam

-Salmon faverolle

-Belgium Duccle in Milliefluer and porcelain

-Bantam orphington in mauve and hoping to add a chocolate roo 🍫

-Araucana

And our rainbow egg pen which will consist of Araucana, copper Maran, 1st generation olive and easter eggers 🐔

Very excited to have some new genetics from eastern states and can't wait to see what they produce in 2026 🐥 🐣 🥰

I hope everyone has had a fantastic start to the new year 🎊 I stopped incubating a little earlier than usual this season as I anticipated the arrival of 3 special new 4 legged friends 🥰

I fell in love with pygmy goats at the beginning of last year, and started my journey off with two beautiful high % does. Yesterday I picked up a lovely little 67% swiss chocolate doe, hopefully carrying precious cargo 🍼 a little wether Rebel, to be a friend for our future resident stud buck Tommy who is 86% and teeny tiny at 13 weeks old 💙

I can't wait to share our journey as we progress, I'm beyond excited and so happy with the new additions! 🤩 🐐

Considering moving on my quails with or without their large enclosure, a good option for people limited on space in town backyards ect 🐥

4 adults, all different colours, 2 boys, 2 girls, 3 younger unsexed.

One of the younger ones has been pecked by savage little chickens, hence now deciding to move them on. It will be ok it just needs antiseptic spray and time for its feathers to grow back.

$50 for all quails or $220 with their two story house, it was a chicken coop that I took the laying box off and added a door, I put expanding foam in all gaps to prevent rats getting in, and put a piece of wood on inside down the bottom to make it a bit sturdier.

Love these little guys but it has just been too hard to hatch and raise them efficiently at the same time as my chickens 🐣
