Introducing Rosie 🌷

Rosie is our 17 year old Stock Horse.
We welcomed Rosie to our Family earlier this year and she has been an amazing purchase! When I say I have struck gold with all 3 of our horses it’s an understatement!!

Rosie is mostly ridden by myself but Olivia also jumps on her and I can trust that Rosie will look after her on the ground as well as in the saddle! She enjoys all the treats on offer and loves a good scratch! 🥰

Introducing Kim and Sharyn! 🐈

Kim and Sharyn are our Mother, Daughter Cat Duo!
Kim joined our family with her sister Kath, who ran away with her boyfriend about 6 months ago.
In May Kim had a litter of Kittens (with Kath’s Boyfriend 🙊) and in that litter was Sharyn!
Kim spends most of her time over at the shed or sleeping in the chook pen, while Sharyn spends her days cuddled up inside. Usually on my clean, folded washing 🤦‍♀️
Lucky she’s cute! 😍

Go little chicken go!

Apparently Helen disapproves of me helping her babies when she is teaching them life lessons… I get it! Been there, done that 🙈

But this little chicken tries her hardest to get into bed for the night 🐣🤍

Sundays on the Farm ❤️

It was time for our big babies to move outside on the weekend!
They have began flying out of their box inside and making more work for me 🙈

So out they go and now there’s more room for our smaller babies!

How many chicks can you count all up??

It’s Sunday! And that means the house and the farm gets a bit of a reset. Clean bedding for everyone. New paddocks for those who need it. Move fences so everyone has enough feed for the week.
The washing machine is working overtime and the vacuum has already done the rounds!

No rest for the wicked around here on a Sunday! Everyday there’s jobs to be done and mouths to be fed!

The kids of course help out and join in on the fun!
They are quickly learning that the animals rely on us for food, water and a clean environment!
Also that the house has jobs that need to be done each and every day for it function properly with 7 people living in it!

It’s not always smiles and laughter while doing it but sometimes life is about doing the things, even when you don’t want to!
