Did you know vermouth has been around since the 1700s, long before it ever touched a cocktail glass?

It started life as an aromatised wine, infused with herbs, roots and spices, and was originally sold as a tonic — something you'd take for your health, not your Friday night. It wasn't until the late 1800s that bartenders in Italy and France started using it as the backbone of drinks like the Martini and the Manhattan.

Countess Cora carries that same aromatic tradition forward — herbs, spice, citrus, and a proper bitter edge — just without the alcohol this time around.
