We’re more than just guinea pigs, we create meaningful, interactive animal experiences that bring people together through connection, education and plenty of cuddles.

Why We Started The Squeak Sista’s.🐹🥬💛

People often ask me how The Squeak Sista’s began and the truth is… it was never about creating another business.

It started with one little boy, a backyard with 6 guinea pigs and a mum who wanted to teach her son lessons that aren’t always learnt in a classroom.

As a single mum, I’ve always believed that some of life’s greatest lessons come from real experiences.

I wanted Brax to understand that money doesn’t simply appear, it comes from creating value, working hard, showing kindness and taking responsibility.

I wanted him to see what happens when you care deeply about something and share it with others and that’s how our Mini Backyard Hobby Farm was born.

Every second Saturday, Brax proudly helps run our backyard hobby farm (with plenty of support from Mum!). It’s his special project, and through it he’s beginning to learn about earning money, customer service, caring for animals and taking responsibility.

One of the biggest lessons I want to teach him is what to do after you earn money.

From every hobby farm session, we talk about dividing his earnings into three parts:

💛 Saving for the future.
📈 Investing so his money can grow over time.
✨ Spending a little and enjoying the rewards of working hard.

He’s only six, so I don’t expect him to fully understand investing or wealth creation just yet. But I do believe that by planting these seeds now, they’ll grow with him. One day those conversations will click, and he’ll already have a foundation that many of us were never taught growing up.

The Mini Backyard Hobby Farm is his little business.

The mobile birthday parties, childcare incursions, disability services and everything else under The Squeak Sista’s are managed by me. Together, it’s become something we never imagined, but the heart behind it has never changed.

This has never been just about guinea pigs.

It’s about teaching compassion, learning responsibility, building confidence and about entrepreneurship.

It’s about understanding that if you can create something that brings joy to other people, you’re already creating value.

What started as a little backyard idea has grown into something truly incredible, and we’re now booking months in advance.

Come and Book a “Piggy Play & Cuddle session”. 🐹🥬💗

This Saturday the squeak sista’s are open from 9am - 12pm.

Our Piggy play & Cuddle sessions are relaxed, 25-minute guinea pig cuddle visits designed for children to gently meet, hold, and learn about our all-girl guinea pig crew.

This is a casual backyard hobby farm that operates on weekends only and is proudly run as a 6-year-old’s small passion project, with adult support.

These sessions are quiet and calm. They are not high-energy play sessions, perfect for animal lovers who enjoy cuddles and learning.

Booking is essential. 🎟️
