Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Blackberry blends Old No. 7 with blackberry liqueur for a sweeter, fruitier take on JD, with blackberry, caramel, vanilla and a little whiskey spice coming through.

At 35% ABV, you can drink it over ice, keep it simple with soda or ginger ale, or use it in something like a blackberry whiskey sour.

Keep your voice down. The cat’s listening. 🐈‍⬛

London, 1736. The government had introduced a new Gin Act, complete with expensive licences, harsh penalties and cash rewards for anyone willing to dob in an illegal seller.

Captain Dudley Bradstreet responded by putting a wooden cat outside a house.

A customer would approach, whisper, “Puss, give me two pennyworth of gin,” and feed a coin through the cat’s mouth. From somewhere behind the wall, gin would run through a pipe beneath its paw and into the customer’s cup.

Bradstreet stayed hidden inside, safely out of sight. No face, no name and nobody for the informers to identify.

The contraption became known as Puss and Mew.

A wooden cat. A pipe through the wall. A city determined to get its gin. 🍸
