📣 A little update from Mandy’s! ❤️

Mandy’s Cakes & Cupcakes will be reopening on Thursday this week.

We’ve got a little bit happening behind the scenes over the next few days — some electrical work being done on Monday, and Mandy has a couple of out-of-town appointments to attend. Nothing to worry about, just some routine check-ups and follow-ups… apparently once you hit your 40s they like to start checking that all the parts are still working! 😂🤦‍♀️

Then it’ll be straight back into the kitchen to bake, prep and completely restock so that when we open those doors on Thursday, the cabinets are filled with fresh, yummy goodness! 🧁🍪🥨

And while we’re planning that restock… we want to hear from YOU! 👀
Suggestions for your favourite sweet treats are always welcome! Something you haven’t seen in the cabinet for a while? Something you’ve been craving? Or something completely new you’d love us to try? ✨ A few more custom orders from this weekend! ✨

What a weekend! A little look at some of the special orders that left the kitchen over the past few days. ❤️

🎂 An elegant two-tier semi-naked wedding cake with beautiful white florals and greenery
🧁 Caramel and lemon cupcakes for another special celebration
🐑🚜 And a very special 30th birthday cake for twin brothers — one a farmer and one a banker! Two completely different personalities brought together to make one giant 30. 💰

I absolutely loved bringing each of these orders to life. No two celebrations are the same, and being trusted to create something special for your milestones is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

Happy Saturday! 🥰

The cabinets are stocked, the sausage rolls are hot, the pretzels are happening and we’re ready for another beautiful day on Main Street!

With the Grenfell Show on this weekend, there’s plenty happening around town — so while you’re out and about, pop in and grab yourself a little something delicious. ❤️

We’re open 9:30am–2pm today and can’t wait to see you!

🍎 CELEBRATING OUR EDUCATORS ❤️

This week we had the pleasure of putting together some special treat boxes for some very special educators.

Educators are such an important part of the foundation our children build their lives upon. They teach, encourage, guide, comfort, inspire and show up for our kids every single day — often in ways that extend far beyond the classroom.

They celebrate their wins, help them through the hard days, encourage them when they’re struggling and play such an important role in helping shape the little people they will become. ❤️

So during a week dedicated to recognising educators, we just wanted to say thank you.

To all of the teachers, aides, early childhood educators and support staff in our community — thank you for the patience, care, time and heart you pour into our children. What you do matters more than you probably realise. 🍎❤️

And thank you for allowing Mandy’s Cakes & Cupcakes to play a tiny part in showing some of these wonderful people just how appreciated they are. 🥰

You’ve been asking us to have sushi ready a little earlier… and while I can’t promise it’ll happen often 😂, tonight, with the hubby’s help, we pulled a late one and got it done!

So tomorrow, SUSHI WILL BE READY FROM OPENING AT 9:30AM! 🙌

A little behind-the-scenes look at the last two days of catering! 🥰

We had so much fun putting together an assortment of individual lunchboxes for a local organisation over the past two days. Each one was packed with a fresh wrap, fruit salad, a homemade cookie and a drink — all prepared and packed with lots of care. ❤️

A huge thank you for choosing Mandy’s Cakes & Cupcakes and trusting us with your catering. As a small local business, orders like this genuinely mean so much to us, and we never take that support for granted.

We hope everyone enjoyed their lunches as much as we enjoyed putting them together!
