Fresh out of the oven and they’re everything I hoped they’d be! 🥨✨

Extra soft, extra fluffy, coated in cinnamon sugar, and this batch came out sheer perfection. The outside has just the right bite while the inside is light, pillowy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

And maybe Mandy went a little crazy testing just how much dough Big Bertha could handle… turns out it’s about 5kg! 😂🥯

So now we have BAGELS. Lots and lots of bagels.

The good news? These beauties freeze beautifully!

My favourite way to enjoy them is toasted with a generous schmear of cream cheese. Or load them up with avocado, baby spinach and chicken for an amazing lunch.

Want to make mornings easier? Pop some bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel, wrap them up and freeze them. Then just grab one, microwave it, and breakfast is sorted for the week!

I’ve been craving a proper New York-style bagel for ages.

I’ve tried the packet ones from the supermarket, but nothing ever came close to the real thing.

Today I finally found the time to make them from scratch and oh my goodness… fresh is best!

Chewy, golden, packed with cream cheese and made without all the preservatives and additives.

Some things just can’t be replicated from a packet.

A little taste of home right here in Grenfell. 🥯❤️
