so camping trip to Imbil this week. Found a great local cafe / restaurant.
The Wild Vine Cafe & Restaurant was the destination for the benny.
So because of stomach issues which I will save you all the details I had the half benny. Which at wild vine is called the kids serve fyi.
Well the benny looked well presented. Taste was spot on. All you need in a benny. Egg cooked just right. Bacon was crisp. Sourdough was tossed just right.
Service was good. Very friendly and fast. Great spot.
So the rating. 4 out of 5 eggs for me.
Great spot. Great service.
Do yourself a favour and stop in if you’re in the area.

Modern breakfast and Asian fusion served in our beautifully restored Church and Hall.
Cafe open 7am to 2pm
Breakfast 7am to 10:30am
Lunch 11:30am to 2pm
Dinner 5pm to 8pm
Bar open 11am to 9pm Tuesday to Saturday
11am to 3pm Sunday Closed Monday

Well what an interesting and awesome benny.
First time having prawn toast with a benny but it worked.
Surface hill restaurant and bar for breakfast.
Prawn toast for the base with soft greens.
Hollandaise sauce was creamy and just the right texture.
Boiled eggs were cooked just right.
A very nice benny and great service and atmosphere.
So the rating.
I’m going 4.5 out of 5 eggs.
Great benny. Interesting twist on a benny and it just worked. Great location.
Do yourself a favour and visit surface hill cafe.

So headed to Maleny today in Qld. Maple 3 Cafe was today’s destination. Great little cafe.
Staff were very friendly and professional.
Coffee was great. Cafe was clean and rustic.
So I had the Benny with salmon today.
Have to say as a whole the benny was very delicious.
The sough dough toast was amazing. Hollandaise sauce was on point. Instead of the usual spinach leaves they had mixed leaf which worked well.
Eggs were good. Over all a great benny.
So the score.
I rated it 4.2 out of 5 eggs.
Over all was a great benny.
Along with the staff and atmosphere is def worth a visit.
Great job Maple 3 Cafe, Maleny. 😎👌🏻

So Mining Museum Cafe in Gympie QLD was our destination today.
What a great cafe. Very friendly staff. Great location. Cafe was clean and well laid out.
Service was A1.
So the benny.
The benny was a classic. Eggs were poached perfect. Came with bacon sourdough toast and a generous serve of rocket and cherry tomato’s.
The hollandaise saice was tangy and creamy. Not to overpowering.
Becausevof this the Museum cafe gets a 4.3 outta 5 eggs for a great benny.
Worth a visit. 😎

The Zebra Crossing - South African grocery & Cafe was the destination today. A great South African store and cafe on the Sunshine Coast.
Got the benny with the salmon today. Mixing it up.
So the benny. Well. Fantastic.
Service was awesome. Staff were friendly and professional.
The cafe itself is well set out and welcoming.
The benny was amazing. Sourdough toast was crisp on the edge with just right inside. Eggs were cooked perfect. Hollandaise sauce was just right. Not to tangy.
Salmon was great quality and the serving size was just right. And a sprinkle of spring onion was a nice touch……
So the score.

I give it a 4.6 out of 5. What a great cafe. Check them out if you’re on the Sunshine Coast qld. 😎👌🏻

Well what an awesome benny. Hit The Two of Us this morning and they didnt disappoint.
Service was fantastic and the coffee was on point.
Now the benny. For me it was awesome. Great presentation and taste. Eggs were perfect. Hollandaise sauce was creaming with the right amount of tang.
Spinach was crisp and fresh and the bacon Was the same. Just the right size as well. Not over done. Classic Benny. It was served with some on point sour dough toast.
So the score. I give it 4.5 out of 5 eggs. So good.
Do yourself a favour and stop on in for a great benny.

So after a big day at Good things festival in Brisbane what is better for a recovery next day breakfast than a Benny.
So today I stopped at a great little cafe in gympie.
Gold Bean Foodstop is a great little cafe and shop.
Service was great and very friendly. Great iced latte and service was prompt and helpful.
Now the benny. What a nice benny.
Eggs were on point. Plenty of hollandaise sauce. Bacon was crisp and tasty. Not to fatty. Spinach was crisp and fresh. And to complement it all some very nicely toasted Turkish bread. Overall very tasty.
So the score. I give it 4 out of 5 eggs.
What a great place for a benny. Well worth a stop in 😎👌
