Well. It’s happened. The rattler cafe in gympie Qld has put eggs Benedict on its menu. So of course that’s today’s venue for breakfast.
So I’m a bit bias because I love everything trains so what a great cafe. Service was awesome. Cafe was clean and full of interesting past and present items from a bygone time of trains and the railway industry.

So the benny. Well what a treat.
Sough-dough toast was on point. Eggs were cooked just right with the bacon a treat. Hollandaise sauce was perfect.
Very nice topped of with a glaze and spinach leaves to complement the already delicious benny.
So the score.
Well I went 4.2 eggs out of 5.
A great benny. Healthy serve size with the taste of a traditional benny.
Do yourself a favour and the the cafe a visit. You won’t be disappointed. 😎🍳

So Trail 518 was the destination today.
Beautiful spot. Nice cafe with nice staff. Clean and very functional.
So ordered the benny.
Well. Wasn’t disappointed.
Sough-dough was crispy and very tasty. Eggs cooked just right. Bacon was crisp and very delicious. Hollandaise sauce was on point. Very nice.
Came with a garnish topper and spinach leaves not over done which was good.
So the rating.
5.2 out of 5 eggs. A very nice cafe and very nice benny. One of the nicer ones in the last few months.
A credit to the staff and owners. Well done.

So cooroy was the destination today. Great little cafe called Fika cafe.
So the Benny was amazing. Very tasty.
Bacon was perfect. Eggs were cooked just right. Hollandaise sauce was fantastic.
Was a bit hungry so got a hash brown/ rosti on the side.
Amazing meal and atmosphere.
So the rating. 4.8 out of 5 eggs.
High rating for a high quality benny.
Well done to the friendly staff there. A credit to the area.

SoMa SoMa Espresso was the stop for a benny today.
What a great cafe. Awesome atmosphere.
Great rustic cafe. Very friendly with a great variety of coffee tea and food.
So ordered the eggs benny (of course 😄) Service was A1.
Eggs were cooked just right. Hollandaise sauce was spot on. Bacon was crisp and the sourdough was cooked just right.

All this combined got a score of 4.5 out of 5 eggs.
Do yourself a favour. Give them a visit and try their great food.

so camping trip to Imbil this week. Found a great local cafe / restaurant.
The Wild Vine Cafe & Restaurant was the destination for the benny.
So because of stomach issues which I will save you all the details I had the half benny. Which at wild vine is called the kids serve fyi.
Well the benny looked well presented. Taste was spot on. All you need in a benny. Egg cooked just right. Bacon was crisp. Sourdough was tossed just right.
Service was good. Very friendly and fast. Great spot.
So the rating. 4 out of 5 eggs for me.
Great spot. Great service.
