With the weaning rings going in tomorrow for the older calves, it seems like the perfect time to recognise what an incredible job Dorroughby U24 (DPS U24), “Bella”, has done with her first calf, Fairney Fields 22D Wee Bitta Whiskey (FAI W02).

Given his nickname is “Wee Man”, it’s fair to say the name has become a little ironic! 😂

Not only has Bella raised one of the sweetest-tempered bruisers you’ll ever meet, but his DNA testing also returned a 9/10 score for tenderness.

We’re incredibly pleased with how this young bull has developed, and even more impressed by the job his dam has done getting him there.
