Richard Jensen’s project has reached completion! And it has proven quite delicious….

22mo Purebred Speckle Park steer purchased last year from Wytara Valley Speckle Park, then backgrounded and finished on grain.

A bit of an experience for me, the home kill process. I’m used to dropping them off and then picking up the meat packs. 🤣

Thanks to Lewy’s Meats for doing such a great job with him!

So… does this mean the full sib to Wee Man is FINALLY going to be my first non-freemartin heifer — which, naturally, means she’ll be the one I can’t retain? 😭

And both my first Dude babies are going to be bulls? 😂😭
