Been a while since we just went out for a drinkie and to share somewhere new - so today we went to The Otter Inn at Colaton Rawleigh.
We actually met friends there a couple of weeks ago and it was so lovely that we went back for Sunday Roast today … and it was AMAZING! I am currently so full!! YUM!
Can’t tag them as I can’t find an in use page ☹️

Today we went to Diggers Rest - what a place! What a feel! Rugby on, meal in the bar. Amazing service!! And Amazing atm...

A trip to East Budleigh where Sir Walter Raleigh grew up … and lo and behold, there’s a lovely old pub with his name on it! In we pop for a pint.

Lovely atmosphere, dog friendly, good beer and friendly service. Garden bar is a bit austere, but you can sit out the front of the pub also.

Just popped in for a pint. Not too bad. Friendly service but nothing stand out ish!

Surprisingly this is our first ‘spoons’ visit since we got back to the UK. Probably because they are mostly NOT dog friendly, but we had a day out without the dogs so thought … why not!

To be fair, it was exactly as we remembered most Weatherspoons to be like - good, cheap beer and VERY average food (but cheap as!)
