🎬 Meet Alex... and say goodbye to Alex! 👋😂
Today in our Huntley Berry Farm employee spotlight series, we introduce Alex... who has somehow timed his introduction perfectly with his farewell day! Talk about making an entrance and an exit in the same post. 😆
Alex has been part of the Huntley Berry Farm family for an incredible 10 years, and according to him, he's enjoyed every single day of it. Even the days when Tony insisted on calling him "Henry" for reasons nobody can explain, including Tony himself. 🤷‍♂️😂
Over the past decade, Alex has been a hardworking, reliable, and valued member of the farm, helping make Huntley Berry Farm what it is today. While we're sad to see him go, we're grateful for all the laughs, memories, and hard work he's given us over the years.
Thanks for everything, Alex (or Henry... depending on who you ask). We wish you all the best for your next adventure! 🍓🚜

🚨 Meet the legend himself… MATHEW 🚨

Now if you ever visit Huntley Berry Farm and notice someone super intelligent, charismatic, full of random knowledge and then suddenly… vanished without a trace… don’t panic. 😂

There’s a 97% chance Mathew is located deep inside the Indigenous Garden having a “quick look” that somehow turns into a 2 hour expedition. 🌱🕵️‍♂️

Mathew is also well known for another important role at the farm… Tony’s official Falafel Wrap partner every single morning at the local 7/11. 🌯
Rain, hail or shine … the wrap mission always goes ahead.

A man of mystery, wisdom and perfectly timed disappearances. We honestly still aren’t sure why he works here😃 or if he’s just spiritually connected to the Indigenous garden......but extremely happy he does. 🤣top Bloke.👍

Character 4 unlocked… Jay Reed, or as most people know him, “that hard working guy from the dairy section at Coles.” 🥛😂
But here at Huntley Berry Farm, Jay is one of the original pioneers of the farm and a true jack of all trades. One minute he’s fixing something, the next he’s building something, then somehow ends up doing 14 other jobs before smoko.
If there’s a job no one wants to do… Jay’s probably already done it twice. Legend status well and truly earned. 👏🚜🍓

🎬 Character #3 in the Huntley Berry Farm staff mini-series now continues … The one and only Samantha Strudwick! 👏😂
Behind every successful farm is hard work, teamwork, dedication… and Samantha standing nearby judging Tony’s life choices. 🚜🌱
Samantha is one of the legends behind the scenes helping keep Huntley Berry Farm running smoothly, organized, and occasionally stopping complete farm chaos from unfolding. From keeping everyone in line to making sure the animals, crops, and workers survive another day, she somehow manages it all with a smile. 😅
However… after today’s interview we may need to review her Christmas bonus credits after she publicly called Tony “a pain in the backside.” 🎅📉Grrrrr!
Bold strategy Samantha… very bold.🤪

Big day at the Huntley Berry Farm today… the farm was testing out our brand new strawberry bedformer and honestly, Tony nearly proposed to it after the first run 😂🍓
This beast makes the strawberry beds higher, cleaner and better drained, which means happier plants, healthier strawberries and hopefully less muddy gumboots for everyone involved. Science, farming and a little bit of controlled chaos all working together perfectly 👨‍🌾🚜
The team may or may not have stood around watching dirt pile up like it was the grand final for agriculture. Even the strawberries are probably sitting there saying “finally… some luxury living.” 😂
We are super excited to finally get one here at the farm and can’t wait to see the difference it makes this season. Bigger beds, better drainage, healthier plants… now all we need is Melissa to stop supervising & actually pick up a shovel , sorry Melissa. Lol😆🍓

🎬 Meet the Huntley Berry Farm crew continues… and today in the hot seat is none other than Hunter! 🚜😂
Hunter is basically the farm’s version of a Swiss Army knife… if the Swiss Army knife occasionally disappeared for “just a quick break” and came back 40 minutes later holding a sausage roll. 🌭
You’ll usually find him cruising around on the tractor looking extremely important, giving machinery motivational speeches, or pretending he didn’t hear someone call his name the first three times. 😆
When something needs lifting, fixing, moving, dragging, towing, or “having a look at,” Hunter somehow ends up involved. We’re still not fully sure if he actually works here or if he just wandered in one day and never left. 🤷‍♂️
But jokes aside, Hunter is a massive part of the Huntley Berry Farm family and always keeps the laughs rolling while helping keep the farm running strong.

Hi Guys 👋

Yes… we have been a little bit quiet on Facebook lately 😂 but don’t panic, Huntley Berry Farm hasn’t disappeared into the wilderness just yet.

Our very own Melissa aka “Shawty ” came up with the brilliant idea of starting a mini series introducing all the wonderful characters… sorry, employees 😆 that make Huntley Berry Farm what it is.

Over the next few days, we’ll be showcasing a different employee talking about what’s happening around the farm, what they enjoy doing, and probably exposing a few behind-the-scenes farm secrets along the way 😂🚜🐓

From tractors and gardens, to animals, coffee breaks and complete chaos… you’ll get to meet the people who somehow keep this place running, and are the backbone of the farms Operation.

Stay tuned, because things are about to get slightly more organised… or possibly much worse 🤣lol 🌟🎉👏💥😊👍

The renovations at the Huntley Berry Farm playground have finally begun thanks to our wonderful friends at Boys to the Bush! 🛝🚜
By the time it’s finished, the kids are going to think they’ve landed at Berry Farm Disneyland. There’s already plenty of hard work happening… although Bob must’ve missed the memo because he still hasn’t shown up to work 😂
Big thanks to everyone helping out — it’s going to look amazing once completed! Stay Tuned!
