"Hills" includes the communities in the villages of Kalorama, Mt Dandenong, Olinda, Sassafras, Monbulk, Kallista, Belgrave , Belgrave Sth and Heights, Upwey, Tecoma, Upper Ferntree Gully, Ferny Creek, Menzies Creek, Emerald, Cockatoo, Avonsleigh and environs. "Food Frontier" is an imagined line that is 'drawn' around the Hills community that ensures that local good food is well promoted to locals and tourists, readily available, and sustainable. "Good Food" is nutritious, wholesome, affordable and where possible grown and made ethically by local farmers and producers.
