Men’s Health Week 2026 💙
Research continues to show that strong social connections can improve mental wellbeing, reduce stress and help men feel more supported through life’s challenges.

Did you know that:
👉1 in 4 Australian men say they don’t have close friends.
👉 Around a quarter of men say they rarely or never have someone to share private worries and fears with.
👉 61% of Australian men say they’ve lost contact with more mates than they would like.
👉 More than 40% of Australian men report feeling lonely.

** Friendly reminder - access is completely BLOCKED OFF from the Kingsway Indoor Stadium to the outdoor netball courts! The open gate is purely a pick up location for Banksia Food Co. orders **

On netball training and game evenings, as well as Saturdays, Banksia Food Co. will be taking netball PICK-UP ORDERS! Our 🩷 hot pink tent 🩷 is set up on our alfresco area directly under our big beautiful tree - you can't miss it 🙊

Simply head to our online store, place your order, and come to the pink tent to collect. It's as easy as that.

✨ You asked, and we listened! ✨

From Monday 11th May, we’re opening earlier to catch all the hard-working folks on their way to work, and parents & teachers on the school run! ☕🥪

New opening hours:
🕢 Mon–Fri: 7.30am – 1.30pm & 3pm – 9pm
🕣 Sat–Sun: 8.30am – 2.30pm (subject to stadium bookings)

We can’t wait to see you bright and early! 🌞💛

Our outdoor area is set up for fun with kids picnic tables, tumbling mats and even a mini basketball hoop 🏀 — the perfect spot to play while you relax with your coffee.

Head inside where we’ve got colouring, puzzles and books ready to keep little hands busy in a calm, inviting space.

🐶 Got a furry friend?
Dogs are always welcome in our outdoor area — we love meeting your four-legged companions!

Running a small business is something I pour my whole heart into… so it’s honestly really disheartening to share this.

In just 5 weeks of being open, we’ve already experienced multiple instances of theft and damage to our space 💔

Banksia Food Co. was created to be a warm, welcoming place for our community — somewhere you could grab a coffee, a bite to eat, and feel comfortable and cared for. It’s tough when that intention is met with disrespect.

Every small act like this has a real impact. It affects not just the business, but the people behind it who are trying their absolute best to create something positive for everyone.

We’re still here, still showing up, and still committed to building something special — but we really need our community’s support and respect to keep going 🤍

Please be kind. Please look out for local businesses. It truly makes more difference than you might realise.
