Good morning
I was a bit concerned that my sourdough starter would take a while to acclimatise to a different environment. But no, the move did not affect it at all. This made me very happy.

We made it.
Packing and moving is so very hard. But when you wake up to this, it makes it all worth it.

11.30am arrival.
Later than expected.
The road was wet and slippery but passable.
Packing the truck in the rain isn't ideal but they are all moving fast.
The truck won't make it to the farm tonight, but Andrew and Jesse will. It is going to be a very long day for them.
I will stop half way at dads place in Boorowa for 2 days.

1st fire call out for the farmer for the season.
21st of September, Monday morning.
5.30am and out the door he goes.
It is unusually warm for this time of year and so very dry.

I said goodbye to my Charlie yesterday. Yep, still in tears. I think they will flow for a while.
But before he went, I got the farmer to take some pics of me with my boy.
I got a friend to tweek one for me with AI as I didn't have time to do multiple shoots.
I have posted the before and after, I really don't feel like I cheated as they are so much like all the other images I have of Charlie.
Brad also added a few extra AI images for fun. He knows how to make me laugh, I needed that today.
Thank you, Brad
Hugs and kisses to my farmer for taking such a great photo.
I will miss my Charlie so very much.
But he is in good hands. 1st to a trainer for 8 weeks, then up to Alison, Charlie will join her team.

It does my heart good to sit on my rock, with my coffee, listening to the kookaburras, chooks, and Charlie chomping away on his brekkie, over looking the valley as the heavy frost slowly melts in the cool morning sun. It truly is a gift from God. He knows how to tickle my heart.
