CFire Lemon & Herb Glazed Salmon Recipe
This recipe uses a salmon fillet, but you can take your favourite fillet of fish and follow the same steps for a delicious result.
Ingredients:
* 1 Salmon fillet (or your favourite fish)
* 3 tbsp CFire Lemon & Herb Sauce (divided)
* 2 tbsp Olive oil (divided)
* Pinch of salt
* Pinch of crushed black pepper
* 2 tbsp Butter (divided)
* 1 Clove of garlic, pressed (optional)
* 2 tbsp Fresh cream
Instructions:
* Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, combine 1 tbsp CFire Lemon & Herb Sauce, a pinch of salt, a pinch of crushed black pepper, and 1 tbsp olive oil. Mix well.
* Marinate Fish: Coat the salmon fillet thoroughly with the marinade. Place it in the fridge to marinate for at least 1 hour.
* Bring to Room Temp: Remove the salmon from the fridge and let it rest until it reaches room temperature.
* Sear the Fillet: Heat a pan until hot, then add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil. Place the salmon fillet in the pan and sear for about 1 minute.
* Add Aromatics: Reduce the heat. Add 1 tbsp of butter and the pressed clove of garlic (if using) to the pan.
* Flip and Cook: Once the first side is nicely browned, turn the fillet over. Add any leftover marinade from the bowl into the pan and allow it to cook with the fish.
* Finish the Sauce: Just before serving, add the remaining 2 tbsp CFire Lemon & Herb Sauce, the final 1 tbsp of butter, and 2 tbsp of fresh cream to the pan. Swirl to combine.
* Serve: Remove the pan from the heat. Plate the salmon, pour the rich, creamy sauce over the fillet, and enjoy!
