Purebred Irish Draught gelding, sire Coosheen Liam RID, dam Icarus Blue Lady RID. Rising 4yo.
Going beautifully under saddle. Photo taken just having had 10 days of ridden work straight after being broken in. What a doll!
He was recently sold to his forever home, first to view him.

Yearling gelding Icarus Patches, (Ballineen It’s William Class 1 x Icarus Silver Lily RID) sold to northern NSW. We wish his new owners all the best for his future, he will be a jumper.

The bay dam is Icarus Eve, by Touch of the Blues, out of Farpoint Erin, sire Hillviewfarm Milligan.
Could be available for sale, but I don’t mind keeping them.

Our purebred RID mare Farpoint Erin has produced a beautiful filly, by Ballineen It’s William, Class 1.
So pleased to have another purebred filly safely on the ground. Isn’t she a cracker!

Icarus Lady Gwen, today in the wet at Melbourne 3DE CCI2* placed 5th in a field of 45. Massive effort with a clear cross country and clear show jumping.
Congratulations to Yona and team Ballahowe who also had a 4th placing with Mischief Managed in the same class.

Ruby (12yo) riding Icarus Gilly at SMGS Interschools gymkhana on the weekend. Gilly is a purebred Irish Draught bred by Icarus Park Stud. This was her first event, unprepared as Ruby’s other horse could not compete. This little mare did it all in style over 2 days, showjumping, dressage test, stock horse patterns, show horse classes, led, sporting, Snowy Mountains Way Challenge, lots of ribbons and fun was had, and really this is what it’s all about. Never would I have imagined our daughter would be riding one of my Irish Draught purebreds! Such a great advertisement for the breed.

Lovely morning riding out with the girls. It’s even more special when one of the horses is a purebred Irish Draught homebred mare ridden by my own daughter, Ruby who is 12 years old. The mare is 10, broken in last year (oops), and is very sweet, coming along nicely with her young rider, mare sire Baltydaniel Breeze RID, and dam Tullows Live the Dream RID (by Crannagh Hero RID). The younger daughter is aboard the best Welsh pony ever, Jet.
