Normally this time of year I’d be gearing up for another hectic market season, so I felt like it was time for a little overdue update 💛
2026 has been a big year so far, between moving towns, changing jobs, and navigating a lot of life changes behind the scenes. Due to the move, I’ve quietly stepped away from the business and am no longer taking orders in Mackay.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my little baking business over the past 4 years.
Every order, market day, recommendation, message, and kind word has genuinely meant so much to me. What started as a small hobby to keep me busy became something bigger than I could’ve imagined because of the support from the Mackay community.
I’m so thankful for the customers and suppliers who became familiar faces and friends, and for all of the opportunities and experiences this business brought me over the years.
While I’m not currently planning to take orders again in the near future, and I’m not completely sure what’s ahead for Mint and Mauve Confectionery, it’s something I’ll always be incredibly proud of. Thank you all for the memories and support that trading in Mackay gave me 🤍
