Fantastic to see the incredible work of ShoreTrack gaining wider recognition.

This week, nearly 100 employers, government representatives and community organisations came together to explore how stronger pathways to employment can be created for young people across our region. ShoreTrack’s hands-on, community-driven approach is proving that when young people are given real opportunities, practical skills and genuine support, lives can be changed.

As a parent who has seen firsthand the positive impact ShoreTrack can have, I’m grateful for the dedication of everyone involved. Their model is helping young people build confidence, develop skills and connect with meaningful employment opportunities while strengthening our entire community. 🌱

We built them not one, but TWO nice snug chook houses… and this is where they choose to sleep. 🤦‍♀️🐔🌳

Every night they head straight for the mulberry tree. Apparently the tree is the place to be if you want to be first out and scratching around in the morning before everyone else gets let out.

Can’t say we understand the logic, but they’re sticking with it!

Just hoping Mr Fox can’t spot them now that all the mulberry leaves have dropped for winter.

So excited to see our first crop of bananas taking shape 🍌

Apparently the hills of Yarranbella were once covered in banana plantations so hopefully the soil remembers what to do!
