Anyone know why chickens are really finicky about where they lay? This nesting box has been sitting here, new, clean, for two days and they have totally ignored it. But today- eggs!

6 baby blue eggs from our Legbar hens and 6 dark chocolatey eggs from our Black Copper Marans running with mixed-flock roosters. Possible sires include Araucana, Black Copper Marans, Wheaten Marans, Australorp, Silkie–Frizzle and Lavender Sussex.

Potential for pure BCM, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers and frizzled chicks. Pullets may lay brown, blue, green or olive eggs, depending on the genetics they inherit.

Pick up Maldon or postage Australia-wide in egg-safe packaging.
